Red Dead Redemption 360 or ps3?

If you had to get it on ether of 2 platforms which should i go for? Which is the lead platform?

Well we don't know if there will be console exclusive extras so just go with whichever you want.

I'm going to be getting it on the 360 to play with all my friends...

whichever will be fine. ps3 for me. 360 for some. pick your poison

Not a whole lot of gameplay media floating around to see if the developer had and blunders on a specific console.

360. Frame rate and all but like Grand Theft Auto IV, they can pull it through.

PS3 for me. Its whatever you have or what console you prefer to play a particular genre on.

I wonder if you can tie and drag players in multiplayer (if there is)?

On the technical side, there shouldn't be any significant issues that differentiate both versions. One version might have the slight edge in a certain aspect, but it's unlikely that it will hinder you experience that much.

Gonna say probably 360 given that 
A) It's developed by rockstar, using the gta4 engine. 360 was lead platform for gta4, and it showed. 
B) Points, dude. 
 
But those are pretty minor points. I'm sure it'll be pretty much the same experience on both platforms.

PS3, that's all I got, Oh and to someone who said it controls better it's a third person shooter. Uncharted controls just as well as Gears.

I usually sway towards PS3 unless I hear that its broken and way better on 360 ala Bayonetta. Or if I have been playing a lot on the PS3 I'll get it for the 360 to give it a run or vise versa. I won't decide when I am in the shop looking at both covers.

360 unless I hear there's some currently unknown reason why the PS3 version is better. My reason for defaulting to the 360 is mainly based on my desire to link my achievement points to Giantbomb and because I generally favor the 360 controller for shooter heavy games.
