Request assistance identifying NES game in screenshot!

Ahoy! I recently went on a nostalgia trip and started playing through some old NES games of yore. It has been startling to see how many games I played for hours as a kid having no recollection of advancing past the first few screens. I was either terrible at games back then, or just real dumb.

On that note, I've been trying to track down the name of this game. It's one of the few we had in the house growing up and I would die forever playing it.

in the future just right click on the image and then select "Search Google for this image" Dr Chaos was the first thing that came up.

Out of curiosity, how did you pull this image in the first place if you didn't know the name of the game?

I watched a YouTube video with screenshots of all the NES games ever. I figured 10 minutes of that would be better than trying to rely on my memory. Saw it about 2 minutes in.
