Why not a poll?

"Why not a poll?"

My favorite console of the two would have to be the Xbox 360, and that will be my choice. If it was the SNES, it would be a tougher choice for me.

NES, it was revolutionary at the time, unlike the xbox 360 (which is still the same old crap and breaks on you)

I am going for the NES myself.

Xbox 360. Lots of really great games and superb online capabilities.

I love my 360 but there are just too many good memories and games (despite the hundreds of HORRID games) that are found on the NES. So I'll go with NES for nostalgic reasons :P

As much as I love my 360, I'll have to go for the NES because of the 360's reliability issues.

NES. The Xbox 360 does have great games, but the system itself is crap.

NES. Absolutely tons of games and somewhat revolutionary in its time. Plus my NES still works today (although you do need to blow down it from time to time).

360, I'm not big on nostalgia.

360. I simply wasnt around for the original batch of Nintendo goodness, so I haven't been able to appreciate the NES as much as the SNES. I have been very impressed by the 360s lineup so far.

Short Answer: NES.

NES, that console made the Nintendo seal of quality actually mean something in a sea of bad consoles. 360 is just another good console in a great era.

Xbox 360...SNES is a different story

Rough comparison, complete opposite sides of the spectrum. I started playing video games with 16-bit era systems, so the NES has zero nostalgic grab on me, and 90% of those games became completely obsolete before I had a chance to experience them, so I'm gonna have to give this one to the Xbox 360.

I vote for the 360. Though I started gaming on an NES, I have played way more hours of my 360 than I ever did when I was really young play the NES. I've gotten to enjoy and understand games that I wouldn't have got that chance at a young age with the NES. So I go for the 360.

NES. I would have voted 360, but too many people have had too many hardware failures. My 360 has never busted, but still.
