I still don't understand those who are that hyped for Deus Ex 3.. here's why :
Are you that excited because you played and loved the first game? Then you played the first game on PC. Well, this game is being developed on consoles and ported to PC by an outside studio.. explain your hype ?
Are you that excited because you enjoyed the last installment on your X360 or PS3? there was no last installment in the last few years. the last DE game was released 8 years ago.. you liked it? see number 1 ^

@Ahmad_Metallic: I'm excited because I enjoyed the first Deus Ex to an extent and it doesn't matter what the lead platform was, so long as the gameplay is sound. Which it is, since I have played the preview build. The story and aesthetics of the game are also intriguing and that is why I am excited for DE3.

So you're saying that experiencing the gameplay of the first game, a complex PC-based FPS/RPG hybrid with the utilization of almost every button on the keybaord, doesn't make you feel like it's a necessity for this "true sequel" to have similar gameplay? You're ok with the "sound" gameplay of a sequel to a game with mindblowing gameplay ?

Pfft to this. Elder Scrolls had a fanbase before Oblivion, you know. Morrowind sold extremely well and all four games before it had cult followings. Hell, Bethesda has been invoking Morrowind in talking about Skyrim.
Pfft Oblivion was an 360 launch games and the series and Bethesda as a whole is popular as it is now because of that.

Maybe the concepts and gameplay sound interesting and exciting regardless of any previous entry in the series? Things change over the course of a decade. Revolutionary thinking, I know. Who knows how it will turn out, but I am definitely interested in it at this point. Even if it isn't a carbon copy of the original it still has a perfectly good chance of being a fine game. Only time will tell.

Yes, fair reasons to be interested in it or even excited for it, but not dying to play it, so much that you'd post a huge poster of it as the sole reason this summer lineup won't be dead. You know what i mean ?
I don't understand anything that's been said about Deus Ex Human Revolution thus far. I'm excited for it because it looks fun, and apparently every journalist that's spent time with the game is excited for it as well. Do we need more of a reason than that?

...and whatever game tickles your fancy. Personally just got my copy of Metro 2033, but won't unwrap it until I've played the shit out of my free month of PSN+ giving me access to Burnout Paradise, which I always wanted to get but never did. It's sooo good!
