Sega game about saving Sega?

I hope this is the right place to ask, but I remember Jeff mentioning (a long long time ago) a game where you were trying to save Sega from bankruptcy or something.

Does anyone remember what it was called? Google failed me here.

@gaff has it right, it's most likely Segagaga. There's been a fan translation in the work for close to a decade now, but it's seemed to have stalled. You can play the game if you know Japanese, but as some one who has tried the game out, there are a lot of in-jokes and very complex Japanese jokes that are very difficult to get.

I would love Peter Brown to guest on a UPF and play this game, cause it's really funny and bizarre.

A modern version would be a bit too tragic. :(
