Shakeups Coming To Voice Cast For InFamous II?

Had a very cool audition today for role in a very famous video game that I'm not allowed to talk about.

Well, I only played the demo of Infamous... but anyway I'd like a less gravelly voice. I think the type of voice is getting played out. Maybe it should be gravelly when you're leaning toward the evil side... but that's just my opinion.

I found Infamous to be pretty buggy and had weird animations for the characters and almost felt unfinished, but other then that it was a pretty good game and am looking forward to the second one.

Cole was so generic. "Hi I'm the wannabe tough superhero who has normal issues with females, just like you."

i wanted more infamous the first time i played it!!!! can't wait!!!!!!!!!!! and i thought his voice was awesome!

Cole's voice was so unfitting in the first game.  Hey guys check it out - I'm a bike messenger who's suddenly developed superpowers.  Listen in awe as I TALK LIKE BATMAN AND BE ALL IMPOSING AND SCARY AND SHIT!!! 
 
But then again, the story in that game was such garbage that it doesn't really matter.  inFAMOUS did a lot right, but story and interesting characters weren't either of them.

i love how all the great developers from the ps2 are bringing their new IP to the next gen and making fucking unbelievable shit-your-pants games =]
it gives me a sense of nostalgia and happiness =D

I felt his voice perfect for the bad karma route, however it didn't feel right for good karma Cole. It might be a bit much, but having two similar sounding VAs to do Cole depending on his route would be interesting. At the very least a difference in tone for one VA.

Cole is Cole, I'm stoked for InFamous 2.

I don't think I'll be playing this game. the first game's plot was god awful, and blowing stuff up... Eh, it's better in other games. It just wasn't that great. One of my biggest complaints, aside from the god-awful plot and animations, Cole's voice. Glad to see they're addressing at least one of my many, many complaints for that game.

Is it gonna be Christian Bale? If so, there wouldn't be any major differences in voice at all.

They should have had this sorted out before finishing the first game. Switching the voice of your man character when he has already been established is kind of a bad move.

I actually liked Cole. Still, they gotta fix the animations for characters, when they re talking they just seem to be standing there. Still, the game was great, i'd love a more polished sequel. He NEEDS tougher powers.

I played inFamous when it came out, and I didn't like Cole's voice acting nor did I  hate it. The fact that I can't really remember much about his voice says that it wasn't memorable. 
 
So sure, why not bring someone new...I won't notice and I loved inFamous.

I like the voice. I would rather them have the original voice actor mess with his voice a little and make it less overdone than get a completely new actor.

I thought Cole was a pretty cool character. The game's story was kind of under appreciated. Can't wait for the sequel.

I thought the voice was okay. Not super amazing voice acting but certainly not in need of a recast.

I liked the voice, it worked for me (in part because I went evil).

I'm ok with Cole's voice. It's not spectacular, but whatever, it gets the job done.

David Sullivan was pretty damn great in Primer, but it wasn't really because of his voice.

People made all sorts of ridiculous complaints about InFamous; "the story is awful! It's absurd! It's like it's straight out of a comic book or something." That was the point! 
 
Not only was I ok with Cole's voice, it could easily be explained away in the story. However, such a minor change will not evaporate any excitement I now have for the sequel of one of my favorite games this generation.

It always bothers me when game sequels with recurring characters change voice actors.

I want to know where the DLC for inFamous is? Since when does a successful game not have DLC?

Still need to get this...
