I fucking love animals. I don't think I could really imagine my life without having a dog in my life. This did happen after my dog, Charlie, was put to sleep due to his suffering from cancer. Heartbreaking. WOAH, this isn't meant to be a depressing topic. I eventually couldn't bare it, and although I vowed I wouldn't replace him, I did get another dog - called Marley. He's fantastic, extremely energetic and completely different from Charlie. So it's nice to have him not entirely replace him, you know? WHAT.

Anyway, post about your pets, post pictures of them too! I am going to download them all and have my happy place folder -- not really.

This is my Charlie, too! We got her a year after I had my other dog, a golden lab, put down due to cancer. She's a little ball of fun, kind of like a nicer Tasmanian devil. It seems like Charlie's a common dog name. Like the John Smith of puppies.

Her name is Yrys and I got her from an animal asylum this year.

@Baillie: The name was given to her in the Spanish animal asylum, although according to some Spanish colleagues of mine it is not really a Spanish name... But I always keep the names which the animals already gotten and I don't see a point in changing it, especially for cats as they won't listen anyway ;)

@Video_Game_King: Yupp shelter might be the more appropriate term... Although thinking back to my first cat... She was some crazy bitch, but lovely nontheless!

This is Lulu. I've had her for about 2 and a half years now. She's a American Pit mix and is the sweetest dog in the world. In this pic she's doing her version of playing dead.
