I immediately reset my password, but a large amount of points were spent while they were on my account. I have little hope that something can be done to fix this, but does anyone on Giant Bomb have any idea on how I might be able to get this sorted out?

What game did they buy? You can try calling customer support, but they might give you the run around.

Instead of posting here. Why not call customer support asap.

@wolf_blitzer85: They bought Red Dead Redemption and spent nearly every point I had. Not a bad game, but I had plans for those points, none of which included buying RDR. I'm about to send an e-mail describing my problem and hoping for the best.

That is the question I ask myself all the time when I see stuff like this pop up on these forums. Why wasn't customer support the first thing that went through these peoples heads instead of thinking random internet-person-guy #421

A friend of mine was telling me his XBL account got hacked recently as well. I wonder where/how they are getting the login/passwords of people.

I don't think they bought a game on his account though.

I thought the answer was "see a psychiatrist who can treat your multiple personality disorder."

@The_Laughing_Man: Sometimes when things like this happen, people don't quite think rationally. I have since contacted Support.
