It's actually pretty interesting, that after all of the internet hubbub about what the story is trying to say, or not trying to NOT say, and the whole pricing thing and the internet darling-ness, and jonathan blow and all that....after all that nonsense, it comes down to is the game fun, and apparently for some people it is.
I like how he says there is no point to the game. Seriously, its something that people making these types of download-able games should look at, if the basic gameplay isn't fun, then it just isn't worth it. he definitely was cracking up, but like he said, it's something that he primarily plays when he is drunk or high, relagating it to a "mess around" game
I know alot of people are going to see this and claim he is playing it "wrong" or that he has no idea what he is doing, or something else negative towards solja boy's music (which isn't the topic here) or etc, but if you have to say those type of things, doesn't that speak to the game more than anything else? All I'm saying is this, for all those who felt that buying Braid was some kind of "duty" they had to fulfill to support independent gaming, or to say that they experienced something that was "surreal and innovative", someone else (in this example, solja boy) just purchased it justt to play around and laugh at/with...but both of your $15 dollars are the same, so is any player more right or more wrong then the other? not really....

At one time, I feel like mostly everyone else in this thread in that yeah, it's embarrasingly funny. And look at it like wow he is trippin for real
But I know there definitely have been times when I have been playing a game in the exact same way. A game that is real deep and complicated in just a simple "play around" way, whether or not I was inebriated.
Who knows....all I know is that he is playing Halo 3 in the background, meaning he has atleast TWO 360's, meaning he is doing much better than me!
Soulja boy thinks that there is no point to the game, meaning he didn't just not know how to solve the puzzles, but didn't even know that he was meant to be doing them in the first place. Now that takes a very special kind of person.
