I'm no video games expert, but that's a list of some games that came out in 2013 that might end up as the Giant Bomb site GOTY, chosen by the Giant Bomb staff. What are your picks for each person's GOTY and the site GOTY? I think for GOTY 2011 there was a contest to see who could guess this, and only one person got them all right. Drew's pick of Portal 2 ruined most people's spreads.

Site: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

Jeff: Grand Theft Auto V

Brad: Dota 2

Patrick: Super Mario 3D World

Vinny: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Drew: The Last of Us? (I have not been paying attention to this guy's likes at all.)

Alex: Super Mario 3D World?

Site GOTY list:

  1. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
  2. Grand Theft Auto V
  3. Bioshock Infinite
  4. The Last of Us
  5. Super Mario 3D World
  6. Gone Home
  7. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
  8. Dota 2
  9. Papers Please
  10. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

Either Zelda or The Last of Us, judging by the current staff lists and the discussions they've been having. I voted TLOU, merely because it's the more "normal" game experience, and probably has a much more impactful and memorable story (haven't played either of them, personally).

Boy was I wrong. They've been pretty quick to dismiss bioshock infinite. And looking back, I'm realizing all that extra coverage of the game probably came due to the lack of new content as opposed to general love of the game.

How did I know this would be Brad's game of the year?

@noboners: During the Bioshock Infinite stream, it was evident that Brad and Patrick had issues with the game. I hope this is not somehow insensitive, but I believe if Ryan were still here, discussions about the game would have been more evenly matched.

It's probably going to be something boring like the Last Of Us or Bioshock.
