I wish they would just cut to the chase and reveal who Cumberbatch is playing. I believe it has been confirmed that he is playing a canon character rather than someone new.

I always did kind of think Sherlock looked like an alien.

When the Star Fleet is ashes Mr. Kirk, you have my permission to die....at least that is what I though after the trailer. But being fare, a bad guy looking for revenge is a common plot in fiction, just this year we had TDKR, Skyfall, Black Ops 2 and that movie Rise of the Guardians, which was surprisingly good.

They should just call it "Star Trek: The Dark Middle Chapter".
