Like Prison architect, it eschewed Kickstarter and went straight to the consumer (via the Humble store). I was surprised by the quick reaction, I am very much looking forward to this game but the buzz didn't seem $300K in 24 hours strong. Any thoughts?
When I read the article about this over at Bluesnews or PC Gamer -- can't remember which one it was now -- I went and bought it myself. Been looking forward to this game for awhile now but I wasn't aware they were doing pre-orders until the above mentioned story. I'm not that surprised to be honest. It's a fair chunk of change, but it doesn't seem all that big for a popular indie game. If it was in the millions I would have been surprised.
