Steam down?

are you guys able to connect to steam? i can't login to the program or access the steam website

Yup, can't connect. UK too, using Mac version.

(I'm from the UK and) My client is connected and I'm downloading. However there is something odd: it says my peak download in 3.5 billion Gigabytes per second.

Yes and its annoying. I'm trying to download a bunch of games in my library onto my new pc.

congrats on the new pc. Most wonderful time when you fine you can run almost anything on ultra on your box. Until that one game comes that forces you to set things to high... Metro Last Light.

Oh. Man. I was just starting to panic, myself. Was looking to catch up on a few precious hours of gaming, but Steam is cockblocking me. So rare that I couldn't trust that the reason wasn't something on my (ISP's) end. Still sucks.

Edit - a recent retry got me connected. Hooray!
