Steam for Mac facts

 Among the more interesting details:

-- Requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher
-- Intel-only
-- Source games require 10.5.8 or 10.6.3 or higher, and are not supported on the X3100 or 900-series Intel chipsets (the integrated graphics chipsets in older MacBooks)
-- You will not be required to purchase separate versions of Windows and Mac games. One purchase will work on multiple platforms
-- Steam and Source will run natively in OS X -- no emulation whatsoever
-- Source will run on OpenGL
-- Mac and Windows users will play on the same servers and join the same lobbies
-- Release expected in May

Don't care anymore.  Starcraft 2 for Mac is out very soon, less than a day or two...Valve had their chance.  I will keep playing the SC2 beta on my Mac instead of playing Steam Games.

Can't wait to play the REAL team fortress 2 among other things, hurray!

I'll just be happy to have the option to play some more games on my macbook while traveling.  And the fact that I don't have to pay for additional licenses is very nice.  I'd be more excited if it was more then the Valve games being talked about.
