Putting aside the hype for SF4 since it's due out so soon, which of these two games do you think will be better?
I'm not exactly sure myself which is why I'm asking. I'll probably end up getting both eventually as it's pretty obvious that these are the two best fighting series this generation, but really, which? I haven't played Tekken since 3 and my last Street Fighter was 3rd Strike so I'm sort of out of them. Not big on competitive fighter, just casual enjoyment fighting (so therefore I think VF is garbage)
Street Fighter 4 or Tekken 6?
Both. Really, I don't understand these threads. This is not the third world. There are no rations on video games. Get them both.
Actually, scratch that . . . I'm going with the new TMNT.
"Actually, scratch that . . . I'm going with the new TMNT.I can second that! = DI'd want to have a fight between Raphael and Rocksteady over anything involving Ryu or Yoshimitsu or any of these other obscure japanese dudes."
"HandsomeDead said:I've always thought Tekken was pretty fun in multiplayer. I used to have a lot of fun with Tekken 3. Though, not so much with the others."Both. Personally I think Tekken is the best fighter out there, but it can get extremely annoying if you play somebody that's an expert and only does the same 3 moves trying to pop you up and get a juggle combo. However, I do love me some Street Fighter and I'm totally looking forward for to SF4. Street Fighter has always been a very 'pick up and play' kind of game with a very easy learning curve for new players. And it's not like you really have to choose between the two. Tekken 6 is comming out so far in the future that it's not really going to be compeeting for your same time and money like the November/December game flood does.
