I have moved away from my Kingdom in Canada to become a European thanks to my parents. I now live in Dublin, Ireland. I have been living in Ireland for the past 5-6 years, and have noticed that it is very different than my home of Canada where you would not see a Christmas decoration on sale until much closer to Christmas.

I hadn't really payed much notice in the past but just realised that shops here have been slowly putting up Christmas stuff for sale since the End of September. I mean, the Week before Halloween, there was hardly any Halloween costumes and stuff in stores and it was packed full of Christmas stuff. I thought it was a bit of a disappointment.

This kind of makes me sad. Christmas is a happy time of year for many, but i think it is slowly getting earlier taking over the other festive holidays such as Halloween. (Which is one of my favorite times of year.)

So where you live, how early does all the Christmas stuff go up for sale?
Is it very different in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and wherever else you may be from?
