I read this thread, started the stream, then totally heard your call. Someone said they were going to do something on the internet, then I could see them actually do it. This technology is magic! This is the real reason Steve Jobs retired, he can't compete with these Whiskey Media innovations!
On a slightly related note, I heard some people saying that if you update your credit card information, you get something special. Has anyone tried this?
I'm the happiest guy in the world I just got to talk to the one and only SNIDE. I think my heart skipped a beat when he answered I for some reason thought it wasn't going to work but it did!

@Sparklykiss: I was planning on doing monthly membership contests across all the Whiskey Media sites, but they weren't able to implement it in a way that they wanted. It's yearly memberships only, so those contests will be far more rare than the once-a-week thing I was planning. Probably for the Game Giveaway one year anniversary or something.

That's understandable. I wouldn't mind giving an extra 15 to throw into the pool for those potential giveaways that they want to do. (But I also still really want a T-shirt. :D) You could also have some sort of crazy Christmas event, I'd be willing to help set that up if need be.
And, uh, yeah. It's better you did. It was mostly me being all "OH MY GOD, THIS IS A THING...!" and Dave was like "Yep." I tried not to say too much, I was mostly grinning on my end like a doofus.

It's lonely, but strangely mesmerizing.....
Also I totally think they need to move the phone stream into a chat... like they do for all the other live streams. Would be pretty cool to be able to chat with other people who are watching the phone stream.

I hope they keep the Big Red Phone going for a while, with scheduled times for people to call like Dave was saying. I found it kinda fucking awesome to be quite honest.
I got to call up and say hey, ask some questions and be dumb on the internet from my cell phone in front of my computer. Thats why I come here, these guys do what they want. WE pay for the site so they dont have to follow some random guidelines set by someone else.
I never post very much, I mostly just absorb all the content. I've made 1 edit to Shadow Complex. (Dont be redundant, lol) But I have always loved the community here, its nice to know that all I had to do was call up and you guys will actually talk. Not just a quick hi, but an actual conversation.
So can we listen to the calls as they're happening? Is that what the embedded video is for? Or is that where the "visual password" shows up? If it's for listening to live calls of other people, then where do we find the visual password? Also, I'll definitely be using this any time I have a pertinent life decision. I wish it was business hours right now, because I would like someone to tell me if I should use sourdough, rye, wheat, or white on this hamburger.

I think I had a chance of being the first caller, but my phone was apparently dead. Really need to get a phone that doesn't pretend to work when in actuality it's totally dead v.v
But I think this whole thing is awesome, definitely plan on taking advantage of it! In a good way, of course.

Update: Oh, nevermind. The lights are off in the office. DUH. They should put a little nightlight on it for retards like us at night.
