So Bungie left Microsoft because they were tired of making Halo games. Why are then working on two new Halo Ip's then? Did they just saw that Halo is the money maker for them or was it just that they didn't want to be under the Microsoft watchful eye. In all possibilities it could have been written into their contract that if they leave they still have to make two more Halo games for them.
The Bungie Question.
No, thta's not it at all. That's essentially all misinterpreted BS.
They went independent for "internal business reasons". They said it wouldn't affect gamers at all.
Bungie has said numerous times that they like and want to explore the halo universe more on their site. They did however say that they want to, and are, working on a non halo game as well.
Honestly now, it's not like the halo universe doesn't allow much freedom.
Edit: Also, why wouldn't you want more halo games? It's a pretty dang interesting universe imo. Lots and lots of things to explore.
if bungie didn't do the scene in reach where all the spartans fight and literally drop down without a parachute (hence "falls 2010") that would be a major loss. Also--- according to the books (haven't read, but know a bit)--> you lose. bad.
On a side note, dropping as an ODST looks great. Very good that they're sticking with first person for appropriate cutscenes.
