Im sorry wheelchair...invalids... Im not sure about years but my guess is end of '90s because i played it in 2000. Graphics is like oldest Prince of Persia, its old game and when u have sex with prostitutes you are suppose to fill up the sex meter in the right bottom corner, also you can change positions. Its sick game and i cant remember the name. :)

It does sound pretty screwed up. Is it straight-up pornographic?

Its not strictly pornographic, there is a part where you are in your room, like in point n click games, and there are naked woman pictures, gun, booze and stuff...you could do something in the room, i dont remember very good, and then you would go in 2D and play. Fuck, it is killing me, i want to find this game.

I remember playing this gameboy game around '93 to '95. It was all in japanese, so I had to guess on all the menus and had absolutely no clue what any of the dialogue was, but it was a blast. Does someone else remember a game with these features?

All in Japanese

RPG

Dice based combat. The characters would literally throw dice. There was timing involved in how much damage you would do.

Movement around a board-game style map

Super moves with cut scenes, I think?

Boss battles

Multiple playable characters that you would pick up as you go.

Playable characters included a small boy with a huge head, a skinny, fast guy, a penguin (maybe?), and many more.

Anyways, I've done all kinds of googling with multiple permutations of dice-based combat gameboy japanese penguin rpg with no luck. Help a brother out? It's driving me nuts!

OK, here's one I've been wanting to know for ages. I remember this game from when I was 4 years old that ran on 386/486 PCs that had a villain named Otto von Otto who always ended his sentences in -otto. The background music on the main menu was Beethoven's Turkish March and the game has some sort of time mechanic where you had to piece together some mystery before an hourglass emptied.

@bigwes1960: LOL yeah I suppose that's pretty important. Well I don't remember if it was a new game or not when I remember playing it so let's give a range between 1988-1991.

So here's one I've searched up and down for on different search engines and cannot get anything. First of all I believe it was for gamecube. It was a 3rd person adventure RPG. Combat with swords and magic. Remember the main character having red hair and a twin (father maybe) with knight armor on. Remember the beginning has you running around in a forest of sorts fighting guards. The combat I believe had no cutscene before it. Didn't take you to a battle field like say Tales of series did. Remember there was a leveling system. Also remember one of the areas(later in the game possibly) had TONS of stairs going to the top of the tower. Hopefully that's enough, can't seem to remember much else even though I played it A LOT! Thank you for helping everyone :)

@lordmalvern: I tried the idea of looking for games that had "Turkish March" in them, but that didn't pan out. Still looking in obscure places.

5 min ago I was watching this video, and when I was watching from 2:00 to 2:20 the song reminded me vaguely of a game I played when i was a kid, I'm 18 years old now.

I can't remember if it was on ps2 or ps1 or even Nintendo 64, but probably it was ps1.

You were a human in control of giant mechs (like those on Titanfall), and you had like teammates, who were always with you.

No Caption Provided

They'd follow you on every mission and the game had a lot of dialogues, like those from 16 bit games.

That's pretty much everything I can remember, I'd appreciate any help :D

Sorry for any english mistake, I'm not native

EDIT: FOUND IT *-* I should've searched better haha its name is Front Mission 3, it was awesome, here's a pic

Hi guys. I'd really appreciate it if anybody could identify the name of this game. I played it on Playstation 1.

It is a turn-based battle game. At the beginning of the game, the main character finds himself into a battle with two enemies. There is absolutely no chance you can win that battle so you kind of HAVE to get knocked out. When you wake up, you find yourself in a village. You collect items throughout the game and most importantly, some eggs (dragon eggs? I don't remember).

Let me know if it makes sense or you need any additional information.

Fez does something like that. The screen bugs out and fills with hexadecimal characters, basically pretends to crash, then there's a fake BIOS boot sequence, developer splash screens etc and then it's back at the start of the game.

I am looking for a board or puzzle type game I used to play in the late 90s on PC.

There were several variations you could choose from but this is one I remember most vividly: you had to fill the board with tiles, allocated one by one, by matching them either by colour (yellow, green, blue, red, possibly purple too) or by theme (animals was one, can't remember the other options), or both if touching more than one tile - so next to a green elephant for example, you could either place another green animal or an elephant of a different colour. You also had split colour tiles to place between tiles when you ran out of matching colour or animal combinations. The game ended when you filled the board, and I think you'd lose if you couldn't place all the tiles on the board.

I remember a dark green background and the reverse of the tiles was gold I think - but there were different options so these may have just been my settings, however I think the dark green was main colour as I remember it in the general menu and leader boards etc. There was also a female voice that gave instructions and that would tell you if you couldn't place a tile somewhere etc. I remember the sound effects sounded like a strumming or plucking harp when you placed a tile successfully.

If this description is too vague or no one knows it, does anyone know a similar game to this you can play on a tablet?

Thanks in advance!

Hi all, looking for a game that recently covered/promoted by a news outlet (would like to say its kotaku, but their website is a horrible mess to navigate for me)

I just read an excerpt/headline from the article and wanting to check back into the game:

It's supposed to be a zombie/horror game with either rogue-like or XCOM mechanics. Believe its on the PC. Thanks

I'm trying to remember a PC, maybe DOS game from circa 1993. It was a 3rd person isometric action game. You were some type of futuristic police or soldier that wore all red armor. I remember you could do rolls on the ground. It was a totalitarian government I think in the US. I remember one line from a TV reporter in there game was something like. You can have a government for the people or by the people, you can't have both.

I don't know if u guys still answering questions on this forum but i really need help to find a game.

It's a space game of PC, I've played in a demo, maybe in the year 2000 or something like that.

It have a isometric view, and you control a kind of a mining ship. You need to catch some blue crystal around the map, just by hovering over them, return to the base to upgrade the ship using them. You could improve the boost, armor and weapows. Have some aliens too. They fly around and are very long compare to the ship.

I remeber being a very cool game. I've tryed every disc i have home to find it, but nothing.

So if someone knows something about, i would be very glady. I know it's not much info about it, but if someone knows. Thanks for the help.

I've been wondering about this game for most of my life, but never had anywhere reliable to ask.

It was a PC game in the 90s, which I think came in a collection of something like "95 games for 95". You know, Windows 95. It was a tile-based dungeon crawler which was top-down, so you were looking at a grid of tiles. You chose a squad, which could include an orc or a dog, among others. I don't remember too much about it, probably because I couldn't get too far into it, but I definitely remember being able to take a dog along. You progressed down the screen, too, I think.

I'm looking for a game I played in the mids to end 90s on my PC
It was a 2d action game.

The game character was inside an office, I think even underground (you had to go up and down hallways)
It looked kind of like Broforce.

I'm not sure but i think you had to fight FBI / CIA (Men in Black suits) and zombies/monsters and Vending machines gave you power ups.

Weapons could be changed (gun, shotgun, granade,...).

Hello!

I'm searching for an old game, I remember playing it on PC.

It was a puzzle-solving game, I think it was a black and white scenario (something similar to LIMBO game). In this game you had to play with 3 characters to solve puzzles, but you had to use each one separately, I think each one had an unique ability and it was necessary to use them like team, so in the end it was necessary to use all 3 to solve the problem. One character was a girl, the other two were a fat man that had a shield and a thin man.

Any ideas?

Hey, rizo. There were two versions of Die Hard. One was a 2D side scroller, and the other was a top down. They were made for different gaming systems. Still not sure if it's what you are looking for, but humor me, and look at both versions. Thanks much!

Well, I signed up here just to ask this question about that game, because I've searched for days with no solution till now.

I remember buying my PC that had it in 2001-2009, it was some kind off alien game.. I had to control 4 monsters (basically 1 monster on one screen, that can give commands to others, then once it dies it switches to the other monster), the most thing I remember was that I was able to change the colors of each of them at the starting menu, one more thing was probably the first mission in the searching: I had to find materials of different kinds by using 2 monsters, where if you put those materials together they react and explode. I had to put those 2 materials in front of a big rock so that it falls down and I can continue to see what is behind it. (Once I did that, cause I was too lame, I died instantly due to monsters being behind that rock -.-).

I'd really be happy if someone answered,
thanks in advance.

Okay,

PC game. Released mid-90's. Medieval times. Management game sort of but also had action elements. There was a first person melee and first person joust. I remember some kind of bit involving building some buildings on a piece of land. There was also a very basic kind of RTS thing where you would send troops out to fight enemy troops. I think there was a guy in armor on the box cover.

This game was shitty. And it kept crashing on my computer.

Google found it. On a whim i just typed in "90's medieval pc game management joust" and gamefaqs faq for it came up first result. The game was Conqueror 1086 A.D. made by Sierra On-Line Inc. And apparently it was pretty good or halfway decent or something judging by reviews. I hated it though. It was garbage.
