Many Thanks to  OllyOxenFree for This Photoshop Work!
Hello and welcome to the latest and belated edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! For those of you that aren't able to join us on the beta site there's some big news to discuss. The Wiki Tasks System is being scrapped and replaced with a flagging system that the engineers are still working the details on. However, there most likely will not be a Task System when the new site launches. For those that are part of the beta check out Jeff's exclusive beta article on problems he has with the Windows 8 App marketplace. Also currently exclusive to the beta site are transcripts of the scripts for the various parody videos for the Game of the Year videos and a new bug report about what has been fixed on the beta site. Matt Pascual is all set for the next Giant Bomb Extra-Life event on November 2nd! Finally ask yourself if you have smashed enough helicopters in your life yet.

Do I need to photoshop Misha in as Clover?

@AndrewB:

I don't know. I had to look up Clover, since I haven't played 999 yet. (I have finished Golden Sun, so 999 shouldn't be too far behind.)

Speaking of Japanese handheld games it seems like Dave is excited for and open to the idea of Quick Looking Fire Emblem: Awakening judging from Twitter.

I'd be more excited if I knew that didn't mean I'd be watching it in November. Any earlier would spoil the game for me in some capacity.

Whoops, I forgot to toss this stupid thing up as a suggestion.

As always, I have posted a blog with a really odd title.

I think I'v only ever played one Castlevania game and I couldn't tell you which one it was.

Congrats everyone! That visual novel banner was damn hilarious.

A got one of each this week: A list, a blog and a review. The site ate the first one of those, so it might be a bit bare right now. Hopefully between all the gutterballs and chili cook-offs, Alexis and Dave can make sure the "endless loading loop" bug that happens when GB randomly signs you out for no raisin can be fixed by the time the new site's ready, because that shit's happened to me half a dozen times since 2010 and it makes writing stuff here occasionally feel like nails on a chalkboard.

I hate it when Giant Bomb turns me into a raisin. I feel like the Quaker Oats man is going to bust  into me room and bake me in a cookie whenever it happens.
