GB user DrWhat has taken the time to create a wonderfully detailed translation and help guide for any English speaking users hoping to get into the Phantasy Star Online 2 Beta, but don't know a lick of Japanese. It is a fantastically written guide worth checking out even if you don't even have any interest in playing Phantasy Star Online 2.

User Hailinel continues his retrospective of the most notable video game end bosses with Lavos from Chrono Trigger. CharlesAlanRatliff gives you an update on all the fun adventures he continues to have in Japan. Sparky_Buzzsaw continues his RPG retrospective with his first blog entry related to Grandia whereas user dankempster continues his endurance run with Final Fantasy VII. Fobwashed provides some fun and enjoyable pixel art of Brad and Ryan, Mushir continues with his efforts to create a Giant Bomb themed playing card deck with his design for a very Ryan Davis King of Spades, and aurahack also provides some fantastic fan art on top of providing an update of what he has been doing recently. Fighting game enthusiast FLStyle has written up a comprehensive preview of EVO 2012 with every date and time you'd want to know if you plan on watching the event. User Draugen has broken down all of the major plot points related to the Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut DLC worth checking out if you don't mind spoiler and what to see what it has changed. User Noct finally got around to playing Driver San Francisco and discusses why he a lot of fun playing it. EquitasInvictus reminds you of when freeware was a thing with his recent blog while Zenogiasu asks the important question of what are good positive female characters and what makes them that. Video_Game_King is in a league of his own by playing Mega Man Zero 4 as well as a Chester Cheetah game as Mento continues to write equally hilarious blogs about his "jaunts" in classic CRPG games. VonFlampanker reviews Videogame Zinesters and user klamis didn't let the birth of his child stop him from writting a blog this week. Then of course JJWeatherman detailed the slew of PC games he played this week and Alaska_Gamer played the first the Devil may Cry games.

Hooray for spotting typos! On a related note, I'd like to make a Photoshop based on that "a league of his own" comment, but I don't even know if there's a movie called "A League of their Own".

Aw heck, I got scooped on the Resonance review? I snooze, I lose. Or rather, I snooze, I come in with a slightly later review while blinking tiredly.

Here's the first part of it, anyway. Here's the second.

/edit: More stuff: Another review, another blog, a new list.

I reviewed Spec Ops: The Line.

Also, while I'm here, does anyone know how to recommend stuff for the community highlights on the main page? I used to send stuff to the interns on the old Whiskey Media e-mail but obviously that's now defunct.
