Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Community Spotlight! For those that may have missed it this was the week of the third Big Live Live Show! Live! and if you are wondering there will be an archive of the main and premium stream of the event. However let's give a hand to all of those at Giant Bomb and Gamespot that made the event possible. On that note check out a buy the latest Giant Bomb Membership T-Shirts or get a Premium Membership that gives you the T-Shirt with your purchase. Beyond the Live Show check out the latest edition of Random PC Game if you are a subscriber, and for those that missed it Dave plans to keep them coming and has Blade Runner on his list of Random PC Games. Friend of the site Hamst3r has finally released his latest music program ezmuze+ 2.0 for your enjoyment. Finally I'll leave you with this:

Game Activities

  • The Official Borderlands 2 PSN Co-op Friendship Badass Thread - Hook Up With Other Users Here!
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Community Thread - Play Online Matches With Other Users By Heading Over Here!

Wonderful Wikis

Brad Shoemaker is the true highlight this week defeating his arch-nemesis, the mile high achievement in Call of Duty 4. Oh and Mark of the Ninja, Tekken TAG Tournament, and FTL came out this week, but really all Brad all the time for this week.

Once again the community showcases its artistry in amazing ways this week. We have not one but two Giant Bomb cross Persona fan art showcases this week brought to you by Fobwashed and SupernormalStep. Fobwashed also shows off some pixel art featuring Alexis in a wrestling singlet while BestUsernameEver provides some retro Giant Bomb fan art. Marino is both a master of the StreetPass and Everquest as seen on his dueling blogs this week, Demoskinos examines his love and excitement for Dead or Alive 5 while Video_Game_King examines the problems with the term "originality" in the video game industry and gaming culture. DrRandle show off what the heck the Penny Arcade game board is all about whereas Lysergica33 breaksdown what the PC version of Dark Souls is all about now that he has completed it. Apocralyptic gives a gaming roundup on top of a annotation of all of his pre-orders for fall as well as the reasons for his pre-orders. Prestige has created a TNT episode guide in forum form making finding episodes of TNT easier to locate and watch. ArbitraryWater examined Inquisition and its attempts to exploit old PC game nostalgia and on the flipside ahoodedfigure examined the video game trope of "Mary Sue." Mod Sweep blogs about his excitement for Steam's Big Picture mode whereas yeah_write provides an example of how a single feature can convince someone to buy a game. BaconGames explains how he help create the myth of the "Lang Zone," bobafettjm breaks the 1,000 wiki page mark, and Kapalaka showcases some awesome cosplay.

Fantastic Forums

So waht do you think of the new membership t-shirts? Love them or hate them talk about how you feel about them on the discussion page for the shirts. It's American football season and if that means anything to you head on over to the NFL discussion thread. Finally if you can think of any games iwth great manuals comment on sodacat's thread.

Lovable Lists

Ravenlight gets a shout out for making a list annotating everything Katamari on a single list. A feat almost as crazy as the games!

Woo, thanks for this. I don't really spend much time on the community side of the site but I'm starting to think I should...

Brad's triumph shall live in Giant Bomb legend. Never at any other point in site history has a man earned the right to two beers at once as he truly has.

Also whoever has changed Brad's default wiki image to what it is now....

As always I appreciate the plug, for as unsure as I am about how many extra page views such garners. Oh well. Maybe one day will find my work good enough to be put on the front page... or something.

I'm working on creating non de-synced versions of all of the archives, as well as reanimated versions of each part, and then also recreating 50 minutes of the preshow plug.dj party with all dem phat chatz and dope beatz.

So...much...encoding...and...uploading.

I hope to spread my love into your eyes and ears soon.

GG to y'all who pushed sick content out last week!

Here's this week's detritus so you don't have to hunt around for it: 1, 2, 3, 4.

I did threaten I'd do more this week.
