I realised recently just how many EA games I've actually played - and more to the point, how many of those games have cool logos. So I thought I'd start a thread about it.

This is a bunch of EA logos up until 2010. It's actually far from all of their logos, but it contains a lot of the good ones.

Anyway, since the video's from 2010, it's obviously missing some nice ones from this year - Alice: Madness Returns, Crysis 2, and Dead Space 2. All of those are pretty good, especially the Alice one, which may just be my favourite EA logo so far.

I also found this webpage, which seems to have most of the EA logos since around 2005. It's all just fairly low-rez still images, but there's a lot of images - even from obscure games that you've probably never even heard of. There are descriptions too, if that's your kind of thing. Anyway, feel free to share your favourite EA logos.

I love EA's logo and their willingness to change it to the style of the game every time they make a game. Crysis Warhead or Crysis 2 are both favorites of mine. Dead Space 2's was awesome as well. Bulletstorm was pretty awesome too if I remember it right.

Hmm... I can't say it's something I've really noticed that often, but I did like how it was a Mass Relay in Mass Effect 2.

Fuck EA.

I always thought of them as invasive assholes, especially in the Dragon Age one.

Gatling Gears has a good one. Bad Company with the grenade was cool.

@TaliciaDragonsong: You're going to see the logo either way, better to have a bunch of variety than the same terrible thing. Is it really more invasive than just completely ignoring the game that was made by a developer and not really by EA, and having their old plane jane logo treatment?

Never said anything about ignoring the game, just a dislike of EA.
I still play loads of their (published) games but I might be a little bitter about anything Bioware made since EA got em.

I'll get over it, probably.

I never realized how much their logo has changed to suit different games. Neat.

It's something I definitely noticed since I've owned several EA published games over the years. It's a nice touch.

@TaliciaDragonsong: I can agree with that. Bioware went from being amazing to the people that ruined Mass Effect and Dragon Age, my two favorite franchises. Still, I'd prefer to not be bored by the silly "It's in the Game" thing or whatever. Kinda like, I hate advertising, but at least when they are entertaining I can enjoy that aspect of them.

I like Medal of Honor 2010 and the Boomblox ones best.

I'm sure that somewhere within EA, there's a whole wall lined with these. I'd like to see it.

I like the old school logo they should bring it back when they publish a retro style game.

I came in here to pimp the same logo. Thanks for taking all the legwork out of it for me! *feet up on desk*

You know I actually like that logo too. I remember playing Ski or Die as a kid and thinking it was a nice logo :o Although I always saw the square an an "E" and the triangle as an "A", so it annoyed me that there was a extraneous circle in the middle of it D:

If I remember, Bulletstorm had a pretty cool one. I like when companies change up their logo.

@BeachThunder: It always used to confound me too, but I still liked it.

Also, for those playing along at home, the font in that oldschool logo is Goudy. /fontnerd
