Bayonetta 2 is going to win everything this year.

@mb: I think all of the nominees show how disappointing this year has been. There is a category for "best remaster". There was enough of those to warrant a category!

Oh my god that picture of Jeff under "Trending Gamer."

Tropical Freeze not even getting a nomination in the soundtrack category. Ouch.

Wish they went into detail on a couple of those categories. "Games for Change" is more than a bit vague.

Best remaster... BEST REMASTER IS NOW A THING!

I like how SSB is nominated twice when one of those slots could've gone to Chrono Phantasma. I don't even like BB, but damn...lol

@gunstarred: It's kind of incredible that this is a category. Just shows how much of a disappointment this has been.

I just recently sat down and gave that sound track a good listen and thought it was amazing, I was hoping so much I could find a nice physical OST cd version to order, but could only find the soundtrack posted up on youtube, damn shame.

Bayonetta 2 is the obvious choice of that list, with SoM coming in second.

@babychoochoo: It seems as if nintendo somehow found a loop hole to get double the awards.... or these awards are just messed up.

This was such a sad year. If Bayonetta doesn't take it, I'll be shocked. SHOCKED I say!

A couple of those games are really good. SoM was fun but was also dumb and repetitive. This has been sort of a turd of a year if that is in the running for best game.

Sure, seems fine to me. I don't know what else you could put into that group. Hearthstone is an interesting nominee but not all too shocking. For awhile there you could watch streams of that game like you could LoL or Dota.

@rorie Will The Game Awards be streamed in the GB chat? I assume UPF will have finished by then (6PM PST)?

@flstyle: No idea! I don't think we currently have plans for it. It might be a long UPF, though. Not sure.
