I never got into the console version. But PC has mods!

#3 Posted by mylifeforAiur (3489 posts) -

I have no plans for the current year (I'm in the future). I'll opt for Costume Quest, please.

#4 Posted by Zella (822 posts) -

Well if everything goes to plan I'll be moving out and going to university later in the year. Missed my chance to get Orcs Must Die during the sale so I would love to get that.

#5 Posted by Dalai (7070 posts) -

Holy mother of donations, Batman!

My resolution is to cut down on the fast food. My waistline needs to slim down a bit.

Costume Quest, please.

#6 Posted by RecSpec (3927 posts) -

I'm going to stop swearing. In writing, texting, and talking. I do it too much, and I realize that I should REALLY cut that out. I'd love to try out Renegade Ops, heard all of this great stuff about it AFTER the Steam sale passed.

#7 Posted by themangalist (1747 posts) -

Wow happy new year guys! Dead Space 2 seems to be pretty rad, and I'll kindly ask for it.

#8 Posted by BraveToaster (12588 posts) -

I don't have any resolutions.

Costume Quest!

#9 Posted by Video_Game_King (36272 posts) -

Holy shit! Is this the Giant Bomb version of It's a Wonderful Life? Oh, and I don't have any New Year's resolutions, mainly because I read that John Cheese article on the very subject. I will, however, Go for the Humble Indie Bundle #4.

#10 Posted by Vegetable_Side_Dish (1733 posts) -

My plan for 2012 is to get into university, since it's time I take it to the next level.
Renegade Ops please!
#13 Posted by Sparky_Buzzsaw (6395 posts) -

I'm going out the door in about twenty minutes to have a few drinks and maybe see if I can't find a few old friends and maybe some new ones. I'm after that Orcs Must Die bundle.

Have a happy New Year, man. Thanks for continuing to coordinate such an awesome thing here on Giant Bomb.

#14 Posted by Vercinger (48 posts) -

My New Year's resolution is to lose weight. That alone would be a significant achievement.

I'd love to get Bastion.

#15 Posted by Redsox44 (487 posts) -

My Resolution is to play all the awesome games i missed this year.

Renegade Ops!

#16 Posted by face15 (1306 posts) -

My new years resolution is the pretty generic one of just eating healthier and excersising more often.

I'd love a copy of Bastion for Steam.

#17 Posted by ImHungry (377 posts) -

I don't believe in new years resolutions, I tend to think they're just excuses for people to put off doing something to the new year. It's my final year before college though so I'll be working hard for that.

I'd love to get Bastion for Steam.

#18 Posted by BeachThunder (12410 posts) -

My special plan is to not have any special plans.

Fallout NV.

#19 Posted by redbliss (648 posts) -

Considering I didnt beat any 2011 games (and didnt play a lot of them either), my resolution is to try to play/beat more 2012 games. I would like the Oddbox if i am chosen. Thanks!

#20 Posted by DrStrangepork (163 posts) -

My New Years Resolution for 2007 is to quit procrastinating. I would love Bastion for steam if you were so inclined.

#21 Posted by DarthOrange (3893 posts) -

Am I still allowed to enter if I have won before? If so Bastion on Steam would be amazing. If not, I totally understand and would like to say thanks again!

#22 Posted by TerraMantis (283 posts) -
#23 Posted by CL60 (16906 posts) -

No plans at all.

I would love Costume Quest!

#24 Posted by Dixavd (1369 posts) -

My resolution is to force myself better (got debilitating health problems) even if it means making my doctors hate me - it is going to happen this year, and if it doesn't I am washing my hands of waiting and getting passed it, sick of it getting in the way.

And I would love Bastion thank you; I was able to play the demo for less than an hour this year and it pains me knowing I wasn't able to properly play it this year.

#25 Posted by Twitchey (865 posts) -

I intend to play more games, so this giveaway seems like a good start.
Bastion please.

#26 Posted by Hostile (148 posts) -

My New Years resolution is to not make a resolution.

#27 Posted by CharlesAlanRatliff (5463 posts) -

mracoon is hosting a contest where he is giving away five copies of Bastion here.

#28 Posted by brodywb (191 posts) -

I don't really have a New Year's resolution, but I would like to play Renegade Ops.

#29 Posted by dungbootle (2428 posts) -

To be happier! Costume Quest please.

Also, you can get a Tribes Ascend beta key from their facebook page, so I don't know why it's here.

#30 Posted by OroJackson (680 posts) -

Hopefully, I re-up on my diet (no diet can live through the holidays) and lose some weight

Fallout: New Vegas

#31 Posted by c_rakestraw (854 posts) -

My resolution this year is the same as every other year: less procrastinating, more writing. Never gonna make it in this industry if I don't get off my lazy ass and start working.

Jamestown DLC, please.

#32 Posted by oasis789 (115 posts) -

My 2012 new year's resolution is Full HD 1080p.

In for Bastion on Steam!

#33 Posted by Enigma777 (6058 posts) -

Resolutions are for suckers. Orcs must die!

#34 Edited by Subjugation (4740 posts) -

My resolution would have to be holding it together for another marathon year of university. If I'm finally lucky enough to win something, I would be delighted to try Renegade Ops. Good job with all of these giveaways.

#35 Posted by iBePeRFeCT (396 posts) -

My New Years Resolution for 2012 is to continue getting in shape and I plan on running a marathon. It'll be my first and hope to be able to finish it. I would like Fallout: New Vegas please. Thanks.

#36 Posted by ShaunassNZ (2128 posts) -

I love to see what the fuss is about with Bastion. I'll take that please?

Just got done a 3:00am shift. Was brain dead silent all night, as I got next to no calls for a good 4-5 hour chunk of my shift, then in the last two hours I got the guy. This idiot that has called in 2-3 times a day for the last couple weeks bitching about a problem on his LAN that he has to fix himself, but refuses to accept that as a response. So I got to spend the first 2.5 hours of 2012 listening to that idiot bitch and moan, and refuse to do what we tell him he needs to do to fix his problem. Sets a great tone for what I expect the rest of the year to be for me.

Then to top it off I got to drive two people home after work, because I was the idiot with a vehicle who's too nice for his own good, and they couldn't get a cab because all the cabs where too busy driving the drunks around town. Then I got to drive around the bad parts of the city at 3:00am on drunk/stoned/crazies night of the year completely lost as I had never been to that part of the town before.

As for goals in 2012, I guess they would be:

  • Have my credit cards paid off
  • Still be employed
  • Move out and have my own apartment
  • Have most, if not all, of the classes in TOR to 50.
  • Have saved up enough to buy a new PC and build it from scratch. Always been a dream of mine to do at least once in my life.
  • Burn through that disgustingly large shelf of console games that I never get around to playing.
  • Still be alive.
#38 Posted by Bullitus (114 posts) -

Fallout: NV (Steam).

My goals for 2012 include:

  • Getting married
  • Finding a better job
  • Paying off at least part of my student loan
#39 Posted by SaltyDoughnut (31 posts) -

My resolution is to plow through half of my 49-game backlog.

I would love Bastion if I get chosen, thanks!

Wow.. that's a ton of donations all of a sudden... I'd like Dead Space 2 if possible!

#46 Posted by Brackynews (4094 posts) -

82/82 is a great milestone to start the year!

My 2011 resolutions are now in-progress 2012 goals. ;) To answer for 2012 I'll say it's about time I paid a little more attention to dating. I've been ill, and spent a lot of my energy supporting friends having a difficult year.

I'm gonna shock myself and say I'd like to give Tribes Ascend a shot. (never even looked at Tribes before)

#47 Posted by StarFoxA (5163 posts) -

I'll play for Magicka! 2012 is the year I graduate, so in a way my new years resolution is to be more independent.

#48 Posted by jkuc316 (981 posts) -

In 2012 I'll try to survive the apocalypse
