The Giant Bomb Varsity Club - with sports EXPERTS Jeff & Vinny

I guess (or at least I hope) this is becoming a THING with the Madden NFL 13 , NHL 13 , and now NBA 2K13 quick looks featuring Giant Bomb sports EXPERTS Jeff and Vinny. With the success of the Giant Bomb Flight Club, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a "Giant Bomb Varsity Club" shirt someday. Or at least some funny photo edits in the meantime.

I was thinking along similar lines when I saw the NBA 2k13 review go up and I was surprised I didn't see a quicklook up. I've actually found their sports quicklooks quite entertaining (particularly the college football long bombs of hope and justice). They're definitely my definitive sources of all sports (EDIT: video game) information, since I know about as much as they do.

I remember how they used to be so reluctant about covering sports games but they've definitely been doing an awesome job. Not sure if it enough of a thing yet to turn into something comparable to Flight Club fame but with time they might potentially make it there!

yea its a good setup. it seems like Alex watches/understands sport so the reviews come out valuable for the sports game fan. and then Jeff and Vinny romp their way through a QL for raw entertainment

Dig it, now Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 is up. Keep it rollling with as many sports as possible. Kinda hope they do the "sport" of wrestling with WWE '13 as well.

It's no flight club, but I love it just the same.

According to the video search they've done WWE '10, '11, '12, and All Stars I think it is safe to say they will do '13. I kind of doubt it is going to be Jeff and Vinny though, it will probably be Jeff and Ryan. It kind of sucks that Pro Evo most likely marks the end of Varsity Club (I kind of like that name) for this year. I think we might have to wait until MLB next spring for more.
