A while back I did a BIG survey on what consoles you have: 
The GIANT Giantbomb console survey. Tell us what you have.     
 
Sorry for my tardiness, but I just remembered that I forgot about it and, a little late, here are the results. 
 
There were 653 members that responded, so it is a good sample and probably fairly representative of reality.  Again, sorry for no PC, because that is a completely different beast. 

Console exclusivity:

• 1 in 100 members have just a Wii. 
• 1 in 25 members have just a PS3. 
• 1 in 10 members have just a 360. 

Who has what: 

• 52% of you have a Wii. 
• 80.6% of you have a 360. 
• 57.8% of you have a PS3. 
• 56.4% of you have a DS. 
• 41.3% of you have a PSP. 

Most popular combination of consoles: 

1. 17.0% of you have everything - Wii, 360, PS3, DS & PSP. 
2. 10.0% of you have a 360 only. 
3. 6.7% of you have a Wii, 360 and DS. 
4. 6.0% of you have a 360 and DS. 
5. 5.8% of you have a Wii, 360, PS3 & DS.

No surprises, Xbox is the prominent console, the price of the PS3 is a major reason why it's not as established, plus, it was late on the game, so people already had an Xbox,  
For the Wii, I am not surprised, by the amount of shit it gets piled on it by users and staff alike, it's fairly known that people don't register the massive seller it is.

I have a Wii but that doesn't mean I don't think it's a crappy deal compared to either the 360 or PS3 :)

To be PERFECTLY honest I regret buying the Wii and PSP because the Wii doesn't give me the kind of games I want and the PSP doesn't have games period ;)

I was AE: Wii, 360, DS & PSP which is 4.9% of us. It isn't that I can't afford all, I certainly can as I have 2 Wii and 5 DS, plus 2 PSP, but the PS3 hasn't reached my price point yet.  It started at $1000 (Red12b can relate to that as it was even more in NZ$), dropped to $700 and last time down to $500.  My entry point is $400, same as I paid for the Wii and 360.  It is just an arbitrary number for me, even though I think the PS3 is much better quality than the 360. "

Interesting results.  Not at all representative of North America or the world, but you have to expect different results from an enthusiast site.  Hell, I think if you took a random sampling of people, the "Most Popular Combination of Consoles" category would be lead by single-console owners (yes, oldschool and we know that console would be a Wii ;-p) and not "I own everything".  The numbers for Wii, PS3 and DS ownership are pretty close.  I think there is a nice amount of PS3 coverage on the site, but there should be more Wii and definitely more DS stuff.  I remember Jeff saying that they only recently got the tools needed to video capture off the DS, so here's hoping there will be more DS Quick Looks in the future.

Good work. I have a Wii 360 and DS but I aint really using any of them at this present time.

Heh the number of people who own a Wii is quite surprising seeing how it is a rather small group of people who discuss its games here.

Nice work. It's cool to see what people have and it's no surprise that 360 comes out on top.

We own them all, apart from a PSP (which I'm not interested in).

I own them all except the PSP and I used to own that.

I'm in the 360/DS/Wii group. Not too fussed about a PSP but I'd really like a PS3 someday.

I'm in that Wii only category, believe it or not. Of course if you threw in the PC, then things change.

Got everything except a PSP. So, yeah, I got everything.

Surveys like these always come with a certain amount of bias, simply because the kind of person who replies to a poll on the forum is not necessarily the same as the larger Giantbomb userbase.

Colour me unsurprised by the Xbox 360 domination, I'd observed that unscientifically already.
