The King of Kong

Has anyone else seen this?  What the fuck is wrong with Billy Mitchell and his pack of nut-huggers?  He is a worthless piece of shit and should do everyone a favour and just die.  It was a cool documentary though.

I love King of Kong. I hear that some of the movie was edited to make Billy look like a real douche. From other sources, I hear he's a pretty cool guy.

I love that movie, it was a great purchase...but you have to realize that while Billy Mitchell is a dick, the film still made it out to make him look real bad. The movie was more for entertainment purposes than full on perfect truths.

Oh yes I hated that guy.  I suppose it may have been edited to make Billy look like a dick, but how can you explain the scene where he finally walks into the arcade with steve, steve says hello, billy ignores him and says to his giant fake breasted wife "There are certain people I don't want to spend to much time with".

The king of kong was pretty awesome as far as documentaries go, I first heard about it from ELR so I watched it...and yeah... Billy seems like a total dick.
And by the way doom, I love your icon.

it was a great movie but i think a not so good documentary. Mainly because it clearly points out two sides of good and bad. It does seem slightly edited to make Billy Mitchell look like a dick. But only slightly.

Billy Mitchell again. At one of the showings of the film the two played and Billy beat it. Kinda ironic.

Hahaha it was a great documentary. If anyone hasn't seen it I definitly recommend it.

Billy Mitchell was a tool bag and the guy pictured above was like that little annoying cousin that pulls your hair and pisses on your bed...

In case you guys didn't know, they are doing a Hollywood remake of this with Hollywood actors playing the roles and such.  The same guy that directed this is doing the remake as well.

If you think Billy Mitchell is an asshole, you should really read these threads at the official website. It explains a lot of things they cut out of the full movie, and I found it very interesting. I too immediately thought he was a jackass, but these threads pretty much clear anything questionable up. I hope it clears things up and makes you rethink his attitude, albeit still somewhat cocky.

As far as Billy Mitchell being a total dick...even if he WAS a dick, he has every fucking right to be when it comes to always being able to hold the world's records for classic games with crippling difficulty!

Good movie, the editing was perhaps the greatest part. BTW, it's on netflix watch instantly.. damn I sound like a comercial.
