Anyone remembers the video we got that quote from?

I remember it was Gary Whitta, but that's pretty much it.

"Shoot That Guy" goes back to time immemorial, before days, months, or even years were measured.

A "Pro Tip" of Gary Whitta in one of the Team Fortress 2 TNTs if my memory doesn't trick me...

I'm fairly sure it was a CoD game, and doubt it was TF2 as I seem to remember Jeff was playing.

No, it was a TF2 TNT. I can't remember if it was one where it was the Thursday Night Tested TF2 or the one with Ryan that had Gary, Norm and Will on the couch, but it was one of them. I think Will was doing shit and suddenly went on a streak when Gary started to "coach" him.

I'm pretty sure it was the CODBLOPS one that it started on and then it would come up on every TNT Gary was on after that. I'm sure of this as I never watched the TF2 TNT's or many of the other FPS TNT's for that matter.

It was Need for Speed TNT in which he said "Get em!" when Ryan was a cop car trying to take down a street racer. Everyone laughed at Gary's common sense non-advice.

All I remember is it was the TF2 TNT where Will stormed a castle of some kind. That's the first time I heard it.

It is a call back to Garry Whita's guide for Doom or Doom 2 when his advice for the boss was "To defeat the Cyberdemon, shoot at it until it dies."

@Loafsmooch: He does say it, he says variations also but this is probably the first time that it comes up and it eventually turns into "Shoot that Guy" as common sense advice from Gary.

I swear to god it's the Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit TNT in which Gary says "Get him!" and Ryan points out how helpful his expert advice is. Suspiciously the Twitchtv and JustinTV pages don't load for me. Coincidence? Or is someone trying to change the history books?!

This is ridiculous. The phrase "shoot that guy" was created during the Medal of Honor TNT on October 7, 2010. The phrase references Gary's advice to Jeff, but the exact wording, "shoot that guy", was uttered by Ryan.
