Here is a list of upcoming PSP games. It's really a slap in the face to the people who believe PSP is a dead platform (looking at you, IGN). People give the PSP way too much crap - it has sold nearly 60 million units, consistently made a profit for Sony, and has, in my opinion, at least 50 games worth playing. That is a resounding success, and anyone who says otherwise is ignorant (can't spell ignorant without IGN - sorry).

Looking forward, we can see that the steam is beginning to run out. Sales of hardware are falling, and Japan seems to be the majority supplier of games for the system. Still, if PSP was to die in 2011, you can't say it didn't have a good run or that it's premature - after all, the GBA barely eked out 5 years. It's now up to the big publishers and niche publishers to work together to bring these great looking PSP games over. Enjoy:

Shadow of Destiny
Lunar: Silver Star Harmony
Metal Slug XX
Hot Shots Tennis
echoshift
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
Armoured Core: Silent Line
BlazBlue PSP
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3
Cardboard Senki
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Valkyria Chronicles 2
Phantasy Star Portable 2
Ace Combat: Joint Assault
Last Ranker
Ushiro
Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake
Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman! 2: Time To Tighten Up Security!
Duke Nukem Trilogy: Critical Mass
Tales of Versus
God Eater
Disgaea Infinite
Kenka Bancho 4: One Year War
Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero? 2: Dawn of the Great Pantsu War
Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday
Final Fantasy Agito XIII
Ys Seven
Persona 3 Portable
Resident Evil Portable
Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airu Village
Monster Hunter Portable 3

Blazblue and Valkyria Chronicles 2 will be getting my money. Resident Evil Portable, too, but I don't know a thing about it yet.

Great! I haven't used my PSP much since I've finished just about everything it has to offer. That looks like a pretty solid list as well.

Think I should make a list of PSP games as well to go hand in hand with my PS3 list?

Yeah, go for it. You could always cut some of the fat off and just stick to the essentials on the list.

Believe it or not, that isn't all I could have included - this was just the stuff that isn't totally obscure and looked genuinely decent.

@Slippy: I'll throw up a basic list for now. Technically I haven't finished my first list but as long as I mention the games I'm not too worried. It's slightly debatable on what exactly is essential but either way I'll see what the community has to say. Anyway good to see that there's some good games coming out for the PSP this year, it could certainly use some more love. I'm looking at you P3P.
