The Ultimate Survival Horror Game Concept

The game starts out with Ashley J. Williams, the Chosen One to defeat the evil of the Necronomicon and the horror of the Deadites, watching as Deadites and other creatures of darkness overrun the streets of Dearborn Michigan. The Deadites found a way to unleash their dark forces upon the entire world and have conquered it. Only Ash remains as he is resistant to their power(He fought off the possession when no one else could in the movies). Ash knows he needs to find the Necronomicon and use it to send himself back in time before the Deadites make their move so he can stop them. However, with the world under the Deadites' power traversing the world to find the book won't be easy, especially when they have the likes of Jason Vorhees and Freddy Kruger as their enforcers. Ash loads him boomstick and revs up his chainsaw as he heads off to save the world. HAIL TO THE KING!!!!

Then fill the world with Pokemon, just for a twist no one would expect.

And then they need to get the Kingdom Heart right?

It's Battle Royale, right? Oh, no, it's just fan fiction. Though i bet there was a comic book made about this.

But then... right... the deadites... right... have nukes. So, right, Ash teams up with Captain Price, right, and has to go up against Deadite Makarov. But this time, right, it's not just the fact that it's a nuke that makes it a problem, right, it's a new Deadite Nuke, right, that kills people and turns them into Deadites, so it would instantly beef their numbers, right.

It'd be pretty great.

At least someone's taking my idea seriously. Personally I think Evil Dead/Army of Darkness needs to get back into the video game scene. I mean the closest thing so far is that Ash Williams skin in Lollipop Chainsaw. While cool, and extremely awesome, I want a real Evil Dead game for the next gen consoles!!!

I'm sorry, but Deadites is such a silly name.

It's what they are. Also they can fly.

While Ash Williams is a badass (at least in Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness), and I love the Evil Dead movies, I don't think that's a good idea for a survival horror game. It sounds like a good action game with horror and comedy elements (ala Shadows of The Damned) rather than something that's trying to scare you. Survival horror games should have an element of helplessness to them, and Ash Williams is anything but helpless. Of course, that begs the question of "what is survival horror?" And not every game should be the same.

Still, if they were to make a good Evil Dead game, I'd be into that. Also, you may want to read the Freddy Vs. Jason. Vs. Ash comics.

That's why my idea involves being in a Deadite controlled world where nearly anything and everything can kill you or at the very least pose a major threat. I have read that series, which is why I mentioned Freddy and Jason being in league with the Deadites. Also, just because Ash would be spitting out bad ass one-liners doesn't mean the game wouldn't be scary. Atmosphere plays a huge part in survival horror, and a gothic world where even something as simple as a tree could be a flesh eating monster would do a lot to put anyone on edge. Add in some upgradable weapons, due to Ash tinkering with them, and you got a bad ass game!!
