Alright, I have gift cards and I just NEED to spend them on a game today! I have a conundrum that y'all can help me with....What game should I buy (it can be retail or download)? Any suggestion is appreciated and considered. Please help me, I just need to spend this damn money now!

Since I don't know what games you already own, or how much money you have, I am going to say just burn the money. Let the purity of the flames burn away the consumer desires that have been programmed into you from your Consumer society.

Fire Emblem Awakening seems to be *the* game right now.

...OK, Dead Space 3. But the reception to that seems mixed.

I would by DmC, Fire Emblem, I would wait for Sim City. Antichamber is pretty great if you are into that sort of thing. Proteus is interesting. I thought the Cave was better than the GB crew did. That's everything that comes to mind.

Well, according to your profile, your favourite genre is FPS and your favourite theme is sci-fi.

So, my suggestion is Hard Reset.

BTW, it really is a great game.

Buy a bunch of older games you may have missed out on instead of one newer one. I find I often get as much enjoyment out of a game from five years ago as I do from more recent fare.
