Thursday Night Throwdown Watitng Room

As it it goes every Thursday night, we wait. Sometimes until the wee hours to get our fix or play our part in the chaos that inevitably ensues. Sometimes we game while we wait, alot of times we just drink and wait, and drink and wait some more...this makes TNT all the more fun when it does finally hit.

What do you do while you wait?

With that out of the way...

Do you dive right in as soon as you see something posted on Twitter about a TNT, do you keep checking the front page throughout the day to see what's coming up? Or are you so footloose and fancy free that you just up and head into that chat room once you peep the countdown at the top of a page? Do you step up fully prepared with I Love Mondays knowledge and have your game already installed and patched, with the server IP all lined up? Are you one of those sexy loose cannons, skating across the razor's edge, that high tail it to the stream only when you get the automatic email notification from Justin.tv?

I like to listen to a Bombcast or catch up on Quick Looks in the hour or two previous to a TNT, but I'm straight up in that chat room's guts once I notice it. I will very rarely try and get in on the action because you are all monsters.

It's not a typo; he comes from a land where T and I are swapped specifically in the word "waiting".

Are Will and Norm confirmed for an appearance? Because 90 minutes of Jeff repeating how TF2 doesn't interest him doesn't sound like fun (though we're bound to get at least some of that anyway if he is on the couch).

will is supposed to be there. no idea about Norm though. it's his birthday today so he's probably doing something better than sitting around with some dudes and playing TF2 for a live internet audience.

DJ Hero? Really? And odd choice, it's gonna be something new, that's for sure! I'm tired of TPSes and FPSes, so anything that deviates from the norm is a breath of fresh air in my book.

If I have to say one thing about this thread, I'm so happy that waiting is misspelled in the topic title. For real.

Also, DJ Hero? Is DJ Gerstmann going to rock the 1's and 2's? Wll DJ Ungelvral make an appearance?

I guess the Armored Kill Battlefield 3 DLC will get a proper TNT when it's out on PC?

I hope not. They've already done two B3 TNT's, that's plenty.

Man too bad its going to be on 360. I have DJ hero on PS3. =( DJ Hero 2 was a damn underrated game as well. Was REALLY fun.

If at some point they are ever stuck for things to do for TNT, I'd quite enjoy them breaking out Def Jam Rapstar & dropping some sick lines or however you crazy kids put it.

They've been wanting to, but the beta only runs on weekends, and from what I hear, it's still a ways off from release. Shame, i'd love to see it too.

I hate that I'll be missing every TNT live until school gets out.
