Oh my God I love these so, so much.
Tim Schafer's money shots

Man, Tim Shafer is the best.
@rflx: These images are from the GDC Awards last night. Cliffy B (the host) claims to have reached out to Tim (last year's host) for advice, and this is what he got back. It was a surprisingly great show, I think gamespot is archiving it (you should check it out).
I'm a huge fan of Double Fine, their games (including Brutal Legend), Tim Schaefer and Ron Gilbert (since the early 90s), and great jokes.
However, something turns me off about these shots. I understand the guy's humor and all. Hell, the shot where he's about to smoke a money joint made me laugh out loud, but I dunno... Maybe I'm just having an off-day, but I need to get more of a "humble" vibe or see more about the game before I see stuff like this. Give me a better sense on how you are going to utilize $2.5+ million dollars the masses gave you before you start posting funny pics.
If they already put out a game that raked in a shit-ton of money that's one thing, but this... Like I said, I love the guy, but this doesn't sit quite right with me for some reason. Maybe someone just needs to smack me up aside the head or have Tim pass me that joint.

This is the weirdest forum post I have ever read.
You sound like a robot trying to process inputs of emotion.

I am! Cuz, like, I don't want to feel that way and figure that I'm in the minority here, so I have some 'splain'n to do. After all, it's Double Fine and Tim Schaefer. No one in their right mind should think those things.
At least one of those is potentially incriminating. Possibly two depending on what's in the baggie. Someone tell Schafer to give me one of those money trees and no one needs to know about this.
@bonorbitz: Well they are waiting for the kickstarter to end before they formulate further details, that way they can have everyone involved. It was said in a interview somewhere, I forget. Just wait about a week I guess
@bonorbitz: Hey, you're not alone. However I'm also convinced that this whole thing came about because it was a joke everyone was already making so they just decided to roll with it for the show.
I also thought it was pretty frikkin' funny.

I would love him if his taste of music was not comparable to 80s emotionally abused teenagers.
You're really sounding desperate today, Trolleo.
