Ultimate video game movie

Not a movie based on a video game, but any ideas for movies relating to video games, i.e. using chars, themes etc. from many different games and throwing them into a movie. Ideas?
For me I would love to see Christian Bale doing a Niko Bellic biopic, going all method, living in Serbia for a year, learning the language, and just being uber-Christian Bale-intense

If you want to see a movie that feels like a video game, check out Death Race (2008) with Jason Stratham.  If you want to see a movie that has a Niko Bellic type character in it, check out Eastern Promises (2007) with Viggo Mortenson.  His character is even named Nikolai.

The original Death Race feels even more like a video game.  Both are a hell of a lot of fun.

For a movie game mash-up, I'd pay to see a film like Battle Royale with characters from all over gaming.  Comedy gold.  Imagine Princess Peach braining some random video game character and then getting smoked by Duke Nukem.  That's money, baby.

there is that Gamer movie coming out, starring Gerard Butler. Crank is the ultimate game movie.
