Uncharted 3 or Skyrim
I never got into Oblivion and loved Uncharted 2, so I would pick Uncharted 3 over Skyrim. Arkham City, Uncharted 3 and Dark Souls is all I need to survive for the rest of the year.
Do you prefer Exploring, stealing stuff, fighting dragons, building a customizable character and swords/bows/sorcery, dialogue options and dungeons or Action Adventure third person shooting games done fairly well?
If you already loved Oblivion, you're probably going to love Skyrim. And it will last you much longer.
@Sackmanjones: MP isn't a priority to me, but I always enjoy having a game like that around in case I'm feeling like zoning out and doing something that doesn't require me to think too hard or pay attention to a story. SP story-based games comprise the majority of what I play and college hurts my brain so sometimes you just want dumb fun you know?
You get both. I don't know how, but you do it. Think of a way to get the money. You could whore yourself out and give a couple of handjobs or something. I don't know. The point I must stress is that you get both. Only buying one is not an option for you.

I considered donating plasma at biolife....but something about selling my bodily fluid for money to buy a videogame just sounds wrong....so wrong.
I'm still waiting for that one day where everyone just names the name of the same Barbie Game on PC or something and then the OP asking this question goes out and buys it and then learns that from now on, they should probably pick their own games.
If you can only afford one then maybe you should go with the one that will have a lot more content. At least single player wise. I think that's the way I'd go in your situation.

A new TES game doesn't come out very often and when it does you should get it, no question about it. By all means get Uncharted too, but not first. Or else...!
oh no...my immediate reaction to this post was to sarcastically say OR ELSE WHAT?!....then I saw the Italian assassin that is your avatar and think maybe in some way you are a man that is not to be f'd with.
Both because yes.
It looks the X game or Y game threads are basically the X guy versus Y guy threads that are spammed in Anime Vice and Comic Vine.
I know this is only the first two games but this is a damn good deal for two amazing games.I've had my PS3 for almost two years and I've still not gotten around to playing any Uncharted games. Maybe when I see a super cheap bundle of all three I'll pick them up.
You do realise that these games are still available to buy after their launch dates?
So if you really want both, I suggest you buy Uncharted first (so you don't get as left behind in the multiplayer). Then maybe the month after, once you've played a bunch of Uncharted, you can pick up Skyrim (maybe even cheaper than at launch) and concentrate on that.
This year, the games I want go in this order:
Batman: Arkham City (PC)
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (PC)
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii)
Super Mario 3D Land (3DS)
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (PS3)
Battlefield 3 (PS3)
Saint Row: The Third (PC)

Sound advice, I'd follow it.
Do you like RPGs? Get Skyrim. Do you like cinematic action games? Get Uncharted 3.
But most importantly, get a brain and figure out how to make a decision. Nobody can tell you what game you'll like. Both will be 5 star caliber games, so the decision should be easy. Which game appeals to YOU.
Personally, Skyrim appeals to me slightly more, but that pretty much tells you nothing.
Sparty, think of it this way. Uncharted 3 will not be glitchy as all hell on release and will require very minimal patches. Skyrim will be glitchy as shit and will require a TON of patches and the first few days may actually have game breaking glitches like corrupted saves or something. I remember uncharted 2 lasted me a good week for my first playthrough with doing other stuff. but Uncharted 3 has a decent multiplayer that seems to be pretty fun. (at least the beta is fun)..

That's awesome, thanks. I'll definitely pick it up when I have the extra money.

Skyrim. I have absolutely 0 interest in Uncharted 3
That must mean you haven't played the other two. I don't think its possible to have 0 interest if you have played the others, lol. But yes, Skyrim. I'm BUYING skyrim, my bday is Nov 21, which my cousin has already pre-ordered U3 for me. Boom. I win.

Yes I've played the other 2, Uncharted 1 came with my PS3, and I bought Uncharted 2 when it came out.
