Hey guys just wondering if there was going to be an unprofessional Friday this week?
I haven't finished listening to the bombcast so sorry if this was addressed on there and I can't see it on the timer on the home page but I was just curious if there was going to be one or a Live from New York Video?

Uhhh in case you didn't notice this is an AMERICAN website and we list our dates as month-date-year. In all seriousness there will probably be one but maybe not with Jeff because he mentioned going on vacation soon.

Haha oh yeah my bad probably looks like I'm talking about January to everyone else! Oh yeah I remember him saying that on the Mario Party Party wasn't sure if they would still do it without him.

They sometimes put it up there at the last moment. I'm sure we'll have UPF this week.

As an American, DD/MM/YYYY makes way more fucking sense, but MM/DD/YYYY is too heavily ingrained in my mind and anything else looks weird/confuses me.

America abides by a lot of broken systems.

@rongalaxy: I have to literally force my mind to acknowledge that the day first system makes more sense. But the month first system is so heavily ingrained that I now have a headache from doing that.

I don't see why they wouldn't. Jeff may not be there, but that hasn't stopped them before, especially since Jason seems to have acclimated quite well to the control room.

Don't worry OP, you are using the english language, and as a bonafide authentic english gentleman I can confirm you have the date correct. Don't let the colonists get you down! ;)

I disagree completely!

For everyday use, the most important part is the day as that is the one people are least likely to keep track of so it should be first.

On Topic - I'm sure it will happen with or without Jeff. Hopefully Chris Watters or Peter Brown shows up again.

Well, this isn't the week of January 8th, so I think you fell through a time hole.

I mean, people say the month first, so that's how it goes, man.

In everyday use who includes the year at all, or even the month unless you're scheduling something several weeks away? @donmfjohnson is correct, so is ISO 8601.

I'm an American and I still wish this was a standard here, although I'll admit I thought this thread was something re-emerged via a forum bug (which in general seems to be common enough for that to be a legitimate translation). Didn't realize that this Friday was the first of August.

Also, the answer to the OP's question is yes, according to the schedule posted on the site.

Europeans Non Americans: how you represent time? Do you put seconds first as in ss:mm:hh ? That seems to me to be the only consistent choice on your part.
