I noticed that too. Far Cry 4 and AC:U are still in my wishlist but I can't search for them anymore. They appear to have been taken down. Maybe something similar to the Steam UK store?

@alternate: I can't find them anymore in the US store. It appears they have been pulled from Steam everywhere.

It would be stupid for them to no longer use steam. I mean, they'd lose at least me and I buy a ton of Ubisoft games so it'd certainly be a significant amount of loss because I won't be using another platform.

On the plus side for me if I no longer buy Ubisoft games then my backlog would be easier to empty.

I seem to remember this happening last year right before AC4 came out and the game going back up the day it released.

Just had a look, it's the same here in Australia as well.

Uplay really isn't good enough to abandon Steam in favor of, even if they make you play the game through Uplay anyways. Between this and the sucky PC ports, I'm getting pretty sick of all this.

Well if this is because of Uplay that would be pretty damn sad. Since Uplay is by far the worst of the digital games management/store applications.

Not to mention they couldn't have chosen a worse time to do it, with all the bad press they have been getting for saying some REALLY stupid shit about framerate.

Guess that makes it easier to avoid games with Uplay in them.

I only buy Ubisoft games for consoles because of Uplay.

I gave it one more shot and Uplay wiped my saves in SC: Blacklist (I was on the last mission).

(I never finished Blacklist)

I'm not sure if it's the same. That or they vastly expanded their reach this time since it sure seems like every single upcoming Ubisoft game has been removed.

So they just used Steam to advertise their big games of the year and then pulled them at the last minute? That is pretty shady.

To everyone saying that Ubi is screwing up because you and others won't follow them to U-Play....

No Caption Provided

Patrick already said this on Twitter but it bears repeating: Ubisoft wouldn't be making this move if they didn't have data that told them it is a good long-term strategy. Keep in mind that every sale on U-Play is more valuable to them because they don't have to give a cut to Steam, and recouping that money will help offset the small number of people that are adamant about only using Steam as their digital download platform.
