Used or New Games

I was wondering if you guys buy your games new or used. And if you do buy them used from where? I usually get mine from Amazon because I get that ECA discount thing.

i buy my games new. i don't like buying used because a lot of times the games always are to scratchy to play the game.

That depends. Usually I buy new, but when I want to buy an old game or something that is now rare I have an ebay store that has a very good collection and their discs are in really top condition. I also sometimes buy used copies from friends (most of them just put the box on a shelf after the first playthrough).

The majority of my current generation games have been bought new, but most of my PS2 games were bought used.  I get those wherever I can including Gamestop, Gamefly and Amazon.

Mostly new, especially if it is a game I really want.  If it is a game that I have only a slight interest in, I will get it used, like GTA IV and Fallout 3 which were very cheap.  I get y used games from 2 x 2nd hand stores locally, not at any chain.

Used. Games have gotten expensive as hell, and any reduction in price is welcome.

When it's something I don't need to get at launch, I'll get it used.

Bit of both. If it's a game I really want I'll get it new. Otherwise I just sell some of my completed games for store credit to spend on some games that I don't care so much about or games that are hard to find new.

I almost always buy new. No particular reason though. Doesn't seem to be a wide variety of used / discount games in my area.
