User Badges

I don't know how many of you guys are like me, migrating here after the 'incident' over at GS, but I was wondering if you guys would like to see User Badges, if they implement them at any point. I thought they added a fun element to the profiles back in the day.

I suppose something along the lines would be nice. But Giant Bomb is swaying away from other gaming sites; I suggest we trust what the gang is doing with this site and roll with it. If we don't like it, we can always petition to have it removed. 

Any Ideas for something of the sort?

No, I don't think so and rather not think about it at all.

Isn't that the basic reasoning behind the points?

I wouldn't mind something like that for, say, Myspace. I'd like to advertise this site to my fellow Myspace gamers as much as possible.

We already have points, and there are even user rankings here.

I don't think actual badges are needed.

Lets get chick pics, every time we "level up" have the chick lose some clothing... J/k lol but yeah we need our own thing

We need forum trophies!

Yeah Giant Bomb doesn't need badges.

We could get something that fills that role though....

Like our avatar to GSes Mii......no that sounds terrible

I'm not really fond of user badges.  They're not really a big deal to me.

No way, this site needs to have its own identity...not the Gamespot 2.0 identity that everyone is trying to give it.
