Using peroxide to "clean" yellowed consoles

There is actually a thread on this but it's over 2 years old.

Apparently the old amiga scene worked out why some consoles turn yellow and how to clean it using hydrogen peroxide. Tested covered it too.

I'd just like to know if anyone has tried this out in the years since the last thread and whether it works as well as it seems. One cant be too cautious when considering using chemicals like these.

@hayt: The Retrobright Original Recipe. Apparently it will yellow again eventually when exposed to air so I keep it in a vacuum sealed bag.
