Was really hoping for a Minecraft TNT tonight.

The guys teaming up four-player style to delve headfirst into a new world and see how far they get in ~90 minutes is a way better sell than Starhawk for me. Not complaining, I'm sure Starhawk will be fine, but seeing the guys run into dark caves and try to survive as a four-player team could have been awesome.

Deal with it. Starhawk is pretty rad so I'm sure this TNT will be fine!

Like I said, not complaining, but their co-op TNTs are always more fun than standard ones. Starhawk did look pretty neat in the QL, to be fair.

We've seen Minecraft...a lot. I'd rather see something different like Starhawk.

I'd rather not see them play any more Minecraft. Bring back Betting the Farmville first.

The only reason Minecraft is fun to watch on Youtube is because people use mods and plug-ins to build some really amazing stuff or people play those crazy survival maps or adventure-maps with puzzles in them. 
Though it could probably be fun to see what they could get done in 90 minutes. They migt have gotten to Iron tools at the end of that. Exciting! 

@Phatmac: I'm watching it more for the guys than the game, but for me personally, I think I'd find the GB crew playing Minecraft more entertaining than them playing Starhawk.

Watching Brad try to build stuff while the other three dudes dick around would have been pretty good. But then again, I haven't had as much exposure to Minecraft as most people.

I just hope there's more lines like "I shot that turret and DIED" and stuff like Hawks just swooping down to murderize GB.

its not very fun watching people play minecraft to me, unlike a lot of other games.

Brad's most recent tweet seems to suggest there'll be some minecraft action.

Based on the Quick Look, I reckon there will be some crazy moments in Starhawk, so I don't mind. Minecraft would have been funny to watch for half and hour at most, but then they probably would have run out of steam.

I was also hoping for Minecraft. Competitive action TNTs tend to just be a lot of Brad/Ryan/Jeff dying over and over again. Minecraft has much more potential for humor.

I asked Jeff if they had a back up plan if people didn't show up and he said they have multiple back ups.

There's always next week, right? Diablo III and Max Payne 3, no multi player potential there.

The advantage to Starhawk for TNT is that it supports 32 (right?) players in a match. That's gonna be good news for people trying to get in on the action with the crew. Otherwise you're looking at something like Trials where it's Brad and 3 people from the community - and then another set of 3, and then a set of 3 (in which maybe one person got a second run?) and then done.

Minecraft would be far more entertaining than Starhawx, another 3rd person shooter. If they are doing some minecraft, hopefully it's not just one person building something and they say "see we did minecraft too". It's better if it's multiple people like the quicklook.

The Minecraft TNT would have created some funny moments.

Not saying that I don't have faith that Jeff and whoever else is there will not make me laugh aloud, many times, during the Starhawk TNT. By the way, I thought Starhawk looked kind of cool based on the Quick Look, the light strategy elements seemed neat to me. I may actually pick it up now based on that and give the single player a run through and then try my hand at a little bit of the multiplayer.

Because that would make sense...why? None of the GB guys are playing PC, and that's not the version that just sold 400k copies this week.

I don't think enough of GB team like Minecraft enough to play it for TNT.

After hearing the MUA plans for a future TNT, that sounds like a great idea as I've played the game many times & just works well for a comic book action/RPG game. Highly recommended though Marvel Ultimate Alliance2 is also good but the first is better, too bad they can't do a 3rd one or bring back X-Men Legends to the new console as the 360 can't run them.

Since Brad never managed to give the Live Empress a new name, those Minecraft blocks would just keep on disappearing until the whole TNT was swallowed by the Nothing.

That's all true, but the point of TNT is normally to play a game that was recently released, they've had loads of time to do one for Minecraft on PC and it never happened.

@Toxeia: Doesn't Max Payne have multiplayer? I could see them just doing that even though it would be boring as hell.

That's all true, but the point of TNT is normally to play a game that was recently released, they've had loads of time to do one for Minecraft on PC and it never happened.

The point of TNT is to play fun multiplayer games usually with community involvement. Nothing about it has to be timely.

My evidence is Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, a 2008 release that they played in 2011.

Minecraft has been available for how long? Starhawk just debuted. Which makes more sense to play?

@NickL: That's why I said normally - I'm well aware of the times they have deviated from the formula when no suitable multiplayer games have been released recently.

StarHawk + MineCraft = StarCraft.... They should've done it...

There was just a couple of scenarios for what they could have done really

• Jeff goes into Brad's worlds helps him build that tower he was doing in the ILM video ... creeper appears blows something (funny moment) .. then they get bored and blow the tower using TNT
• Brad goes into Jeff's world they build more tunnels die a couple of times by monsters or lava... they get bored and blow stuff up with TNT

I mean Minecraft isn't all that interesting and vanilla minecraft is even more dull , the mods and all that stuff is what makes Minecraft somewhat interesting plus the guys don't know too much about the things you can do in the world like building a portal to the underworld so I don't know why people wanted a Minecraft TNT so bad when they could've done a PC one when the game came out.

And of course, with the four of them playing at the same time, a MC TNT would have had a lot of funny moments...

Yeah it's kinda lame, another shooty shooter TNT. I've been watching them pretty regularly recently but meh, should have gone with Minecraft this week. Blah blah, there's loads of YouTube, but there's not loads of the GB dudes playing it on YouTube is there Mr. Smuggy McSmuggerPants?

Yeah, it's like some ppl don't know why we come to this site...

We don't come here for information, we come here for entertainment.

I don't care about Minecraft, but i'm sure they would have had a lot of funny ass moments playing it in 4 player Co-op.

But instead we got another boring ass TNT, with one guy playing, and the other 2 looking bored as hell...

They could at least pass the controller around...

But they never do that!!!

Why?!?!

When i'm paying around ppl, i always' ask if they wanna play.

But these guys are always"no!!!

No!!!

You just sit there, and watch me play this damn game for 2 hours!!!
