I don't think its possible. I really wish it was. It would be super convenient to watch premium live streams on the consoles.

Live streams half-work on iOS, although there is some bug with the HTTP Live Streaming that causes nasty A/V breakups every 10 seconds. So I take that back, it's unwatchable on anything but a PC. Now that I think about it, I am not sure if I've tried this combined with AirPlay to an Apple TV. I'd bet it has the same HLS bug though... In theory if a device/console supports HLS it could play the live stream, you'd just need to do a bit of work getting the URL.

I just usually fire up live streams in Chrome on my gaming PC where they are rock solid. If you don't care that much about the live factor, wait for the archived version because it's much higher bitrate. I think it's 2.5mbps live compared to 4mbps archived.

I haven't tried my iPad since the new player launched but I know it doesn't work on my Surface. I was pretty disappointed when I found out as I rarely use my laptop now.

Chat works after I let it load for forever on the PS4 browser, but dangit I think it OUGHT TO work on these machines. It would be nice to be able to use chat, read chat, see polls, take part in polls from these consoles but if need be I would be very very happy with just the live video streams working.

Thanks Steve Jobs.

You have an iPad and a Surface? You're a rare breed.

The iPad is older. Instead of upgrading to a new one I went with the Surface 2 (RT) instead. I really only use the iPad for games (Threes!) and the Surface for all of my surfing/media consumption.

I have a MS Surface Tab 2 and unfortunately, nope =( Which sucks, considering you can use just regular internet explorer on the tab. Doesn't work. Tried many, many things. Many nights in a hotel in some random European country trying to dial into GB live streams and failing. This is literally the ONLY issue I have with GB's premium services. It only works on a home PC, or an Apple product. Any other mobile device is fucked, basically.

Nope. It used to be possible on android, but android phased out flash support in 4.4 kitkat. Even browsers with purported flash capability (like flash fox.... waste of money) won't work with the CBSi live player (which is flash based). Free streams can (usually) be watched through the twitch app, and the morning show is on youtube, which works on everything.

Its 2014. I don't understand how you can not have a computer but still have an Xbox 1 and a Giantbomb premium account. Consider missing live shows an additional side effect to not owning a PC much like not being able to mod games, archive your porn, or use Steam.

No one said they don't have a PC.

Live streams work fine on an iPad.

Just having a Surface makes you a pretty rare breed in itself. Especially the crappy RT. Damn.

You can still use Flash if you root though.
