I think I started around 5, when my father introduced me to Doom after we had bought our first PC. Good times. Somehow, we moved on to RTS games (command and conquer) and eventually back to shooters with Unreal Tournament.

I've been gaming for as long as I was strong enough to hold a controller.
My father had an NES, which he bought a year before I was born. I'm not sure which game was the first I ever played, but it was either Super Mario Bros 1 or 3, Megaman 1 or Ice Climber.

Early '80s. My mom worked at a bowling alley, and I'd get free credits in the arcade from the people who worked there.

Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Zaxxon, Bag Man were favorites.

We got an Atari 2600 later. Our neighbors had a Colecovision. Even when I was a kid, I'd drool over the better graphics on Coleco and in the arcades. :)
