I also check out gametrailers and eurogamer.net for reviews, and OneLifeLeft and Consolevania are the best shows about video games you will ever see or hear.

I have to second OLL. The podcast is simply amazing. It's a UK show, so if you're not from the UK it could seem a little odd, but don't let that put you off. The only problem is that they break it up into seasons, and it's currently on a break.

The only one I ever frequented was gamespot and metacritic (and now giantbomb)

I usually end up arguing pointlessly about why this game is good or bad, so i dont really go to them too often.

Im overusing this site as it is

#65 Posted by MrTaco (52 posts) -

My usual cycle is...

IGN
Kotaku
Gamasutra
Joystiq
Edge-Magazine (formerly Next Generation)
CVG
Destructoid (I had to after they skinned their site as "FOXTOID NEWS - We blame. You Agree.")
And Jessica Chobot's IGN Blog

Anyway check out NeoGAF. They have a great community and no one ever gets banned.

Yeah, and after NeoGAF, try SomethingAwful.com.  I mean, after paying ten bucks to use their forum, I'm sure there's no way they could ever ban you!

Gamespot is good if you have the mental maturity of a 90 year old

"

I never tried SomethingAwful.com. But, I don't see your point the NeoGAF community has been nothing but supportive about my thoughts on gaming. I think they go out of there way to be supportive.

I like NeoGAFs community, just not their rules to be honest.

Giantbomb dot com. its a website! about video games!

I also use GameTrailers. they have some cool features like the Bonus Round and Retrospectives. Hell, its because of the FF retrospective that got me into the series.
