I would like to know what dungeon crawlers, you would reccomend since I have started playing eye of the beholder and was wondering what dungeon crawlers you enjoy. I also looked at Legend of grimrock but I don't think my computer could run it since I only have an ati radeon 3000 intergrated graphics card.

The Etrian Odyssey games are good. If you're into Shin Megami Tensei games then Strange Journey is good. Those are the only pure dungeon crawlers I've played recently.

I'm probably the only who will say this but I think Dungeon Siege 3 is awesome.

Currently playing Skyrim again. I enjoy its dungeon crawling elements immensely. All the hidden traps and treasures and deadly beasts. Baller atmosphere really.

If we're going to talk about Atlus games then...

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

Aha! I am not disappointed!

I thought about Nocturne, but Etrian Odyssey and Strange Journey are a lot closer to Eye of the Beholder and Grimrock than Nocturne is.

I know you said your comp might not run it, but Grimrock was really awesome. Felt like a legit modern day throwback. I felt like I was a kid playing computer games for the first time while playing that game.

Champions of Norrath, Champions: Return to Arms, and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. They're all PS2 releases, but track them down, as they're among the best 3D dungeon crawlers ever made.

i'd recommend checking out ZHP.

@fancysoapsman: i don't think this game is a very good dungeon crawler at all because you seemingly cant go 3 god damn steps without getting into a random battle. trying to get to an exit that is 100 ft away can take like 7 or 8 minutes and i think it sucks a lot the joy out of combat and exploring. i remember thinking to myself "i probably shouldn't check whats around this corner cause if i do i'm gonna be here for 20 more minutes." same thing with DDS
