Legend of Dragoon. Tomorrow the answer will be LoD and Divekick.
What cha been playin?
@davidwitten22: WILL THEY EVER MAKE A LEGEND OF DRAGOON TWO OR WHAT!? Sorry to yell like that, but seriously, it's been so fucking long. Double Slash for life.
Anywho... I've been playing Gods Will Be Watching like a man addicted.
Playing Resident Evil 6 at the moment. It suuuuuuuucks. I started with the Leon campaign and it starts off with nothing happening for like 30 minutes. Then they throw millions of zombies at you. The melee is broken beyond belief. You get hundreds of bullets, but enemies take forever to kill. You yourself die extremely easily though. Or rather, you go down quickly, but it's rarely a big deal because your partner always come and rescue your ass. The military zombies with guns are the WORST! Just like a bunch of other bad games (FEAR 3, Lost Planet 2, Mindjack) this game is supposed to be played in co-op online, so the singleplayer feels like an online game with a bunch of corridors and shooting galleries. Fuck Capcom for killing Resident Evil.
Recently, I've being playing MGS: Peace Walker in my quest to complete every MGS game I can play on my PS3 this year. It's actually pretty good, I am really digging the slightly more serious Cold War politics of the story, but I am only a few hours in so I am fully expecting pure batshit insanity later on. It's actually odd how well the base progression works to add a little more meat to the game. Otherwise, I've been messing with the latest core set on Magic Online and have just started Hotline Miami on my Vita.
Going through the latest Army of Two game co-op with my brother. Man, I really like this franchise. Modding weapons, customizing masks, completely brainless but bombastically enjoyable combat. All along making really crappy inside jokes with my brother. Such a good goddamn time. I would never say Army of Two is a top tier franchise, but it's fucking entertaining as hell. Granted, the latest one is a bit janky in it's graphical and audio department on and off. But, I can ignore that. It's funny hearing my brother say he all of a sudden only see heads and weapons.
Also Shadowrun Returns. So good. So good.
@sploder: even ME1? You are hardcore. I liked the game the first time but don't think I could stomach it again..
Anyway, man my problem is I do have a massive backlog of games to play and not enough time.. so what have I been thinking about lately? Going back to Skyrim and playing the DLC. I have 100+ hours in on a "completed game" and another 40 or so on a second play-through (went rogue second time cuz I didn't do the thieves guild on my first wizard play-through). Oh, and if that weren't bad enough Civ V has also been calling to me (played a few complete games before the latest expansion). As if I actually had that kind of time to put in to those games.. But my backlog includes the aforementioned Steam (sale) Games, X-Com (PC), The Walking Dead (Played through the second ep) and Ni No Kuni... Although I think I'm done with Ni No Kuni. I got to the part where the world is going to change (new continent opens or something?) But I just don't feel like grinding anymore to level my pocket monsters. I loved the art style but have had enough. That makes me kinda sad.. Wish I still had the time to put in like I did when I was a kid to complete games. But I've got a mortgage and a J O B... such is life.
I haven't played anything new since The Last of Us. I've mostly been playing random games for my twitch stream.
Bioshock Infinite
Fallout 3
Burnout Paradise
Max Payne 3
Sleeping Dogs
and too much League of Legends.
tales of xillia, dragon's crown and Zelda: oracle of ages on the 3ds. Tales has been filling most of my game time, should be able to beat it tonight and then focus more on dragons crown which is an amazing game. might also burn through black ops 2 this weekend just to switch up the genre a bit.
Just completed Saint's Row The Third based on my husband's recommendation, plus it being on sale during the steam sale. I've also been replaying Hotline Miami for puzzle pieces and masks, Rogue Legacy, Injustice and Animal Crossing New Leaf, which I just picked up this weekend. Animal Crossing is devious. The second day I had it there was a Bug Off and then fireworks the next day. I couldn't miss the events, so I was playing way more than I thought I would over the weekend.
Went back to Saints Row the third, i was playing DMC but honestly its good but gets a bit boring and the FOV makes me dizzy on the pc.
When I have time: Playing some Dota 2. Pumping Skyrim full of mods and playing through Dragonborn.
When I don't have time (most of the time): A little Rogue Legacy, a little Mercenary Kinds, a little Spelunky and a dash of Papers Please, sprinklings of Gunpoint, FTL. Stuff I can boot up and drop pretty quickly if I need to, weather is quite nice and summer is coming to an end, gotta make the most of it!.
Shin Megami Tensei IV mostly.
I tried out Hitman: Absolution because it was free for PS+ members and I was a fan of Blood Money, but it didn't click with me.
Spelunky finally came out on Steam, so I've been playing through that. Also, I'm still slowly making my way through A Link to the Past for the first time.
I've been playing Divekick. Just beat the arcade ladder as Jefailey out of all characters! So far I've been having the best dumb fun I've had in a long time.
