What console do you get most your multiplatform games on?
I try to take it by a game by game basis. I do like my PS3 a bit more, so if the game is exactly the same on both, ill probaly go that route. However, we really should take them by a game by game basis. Its not like last gen where XBOX had undisputably the better tech and better looking versions of Multiplatform games. For example, Dragon Age looks better on PS3 compared to 360, so ill probaly go that route for that game. In contrast, Assassins Creed 2 is better looking and better running on 360, so ill probaly got that route. Thats why we really need comaprisons this gen, because its not set in stone which console always has the better version.
I'm a PS3 only owner so I get them on that, but it's a little dissapointing when most of them are just lazy 360 ports.
i guess it would be better to ask if you have both systems, which you get it on.
I have both, have about 20 games on the 360, get most multi platform games on the 360 because of points, downloads.
I have one game for the PS3 though...Uncharted 2, guess i should consider getting more games for it.
It jsut confounds me that we see games liek Uncharted 2 which clearly outclass 360 Exclusives in Graphics department, but we cant seem to get the same results on Multipaltform games.
Dragon Age runs like shit on PS3. Go for the PC version or the less shit 360 version. I have both consoles and would buy loads of multiplats on 360, but i'm usually guilt tripped into getting the PS3 one just because my friends are getting it there. It's so annoying living with inferior products all the time, especially when this was a big reason why I bought a 360.
Are the FPS problems really that bad? I havent heard much on them. But it does look better on PS3.
I prefer 360 games mainly because i have more achievements than trophies and all my friends are on 360 so even if i am on a single player game i can talk to them.. Also the PS3 Controller is horrible for FPS IMO
Multiplayer games: Which ever my friends are playing it on.
Single player games: I switch between the two consoles so both my gamer score and trophy level are raised.
Then there are just some games that are meant to be played on a particular console. I'm getting FFXIII on PS3, for example.
Playstation 2 because I'm a cheap dick who refuses to upgrade and actually enjoys playing shitty ports of Guitar Hero 5.

As far as comparisons go, yes. FPS affects gameplay too, so if you have a game underperforming then you will detect it in the controls. It is also a totally noticeable visual distraction - a better texture might pass you by completely, but a drop in 10-15 frames or 20% tearing will be like a sledgehammer to the face.
When I had both systems (i sold my 360( i bought them for my ps3 simply because I like the ps3 controller is much better imo. Also I don't care about trophies/achievements.
"Where's the fucking Wii and PC? Bogus. "
Yeh man, I get anyhting I can on PC and if not PC then it definatley PS3.

Why would I buy a game on 360, when I could buy it for something else? Like a system that wont destroy the CD or itself...
What about the Wii and PC?
And I also hate when the PS3 version is just a lazy port of the 360 version, especially when the PS3 is superior in everything except online capabilities. If Final Fantasy XIII turns out to be like that, I will kill both Square and Microsoft. Twice.
I prefer the PS3 controller over the 360 controller any day. I can't stand the 360 controller for some reason.
Don't I see this question posted five times a week? Or is it the same thread that keeps on getting bumped?
PC, obviously.
