Both game looks amazing, but I'll have to go with Witcher 2 and get LA noire later down the line.

#3 Posted by craigbo180 (1739 posts) -

Neither. Don't care about witcher 2 and don't know what on earth L.A. noire is supposed to be.

#4 Posted by SethPhotopoulos (5035 posts) -

Sadly nothing.

#5 Posted by Daveyo520 (6651 posts) -

If LA Noir isn't a let down, that.

#6 Edited by Hardgamer (610 posts) -

Hopefully L.A Noire.

La noire

#8 Posted by Claude (16254 posts) -

I'm not sure my PC can handle The Witcher 2, but I would have seriously thought about getting it day one. I picked L.A. Noire. My gut feeling is telling me that it's a game for me. Weird, I haven't even thought about buying a game on day one in a while. Wish I could get them both.

@Claude: Let's be honest here though, The Witcher 2 is going to be like 5 bucks this holiday on Steam so very few are going to pay the premium on it.

Probably not going to go sale on Steam, but it's possible that we see it go on up to 50% on GoG.

No way, even the first Witcher held its price for a year or so. Maybe $29.99 on sale this holiday season, but that's it.

 Both

That wouldn't be surprising to me at all.

Skipping on both.  Neither game is set in a period that I would like to experience.

#15 Posted by Besetment (469 posts) -

If "both" and "neither" were included in this poll, "neither" would win by a large margin.

L.A. Noire will arrive at my door eventually, but next week? Nay.

Neither

Already pre-ordered and downloaded The Witcher 2 from GOG, just need to wait a couple days till I can play.

LA Noire is already bought and paid for. Just waiting to pick it up!

#21 Posted by Claude (16254 posts) -
@Aronman789: I really don't trust those things. I did it for Mass Effect 2 and got the big fail. As it turned out, Mass Effect 2 ran like a charm. But I do have a pretty old machine.

Both, but I'll be focusing on Witcher 2 until I'm done. I'm way more hyped for Witcher 2 than L.A. Noire, even though I'm really excited for L.A. Noire.

Witcher 2 is already bought....twice (CE retail and GOG pre-loaded). I only bought L.A. Noire once.

Probably the bet time to pick it up too. With a lot of holiday stuff pushed back to 2012 and  tons of other things coming out this summer? Heck might as well wait.

L.A. Noire fo me!

Though I'm in a bit of a pickle. I can't preorder the game because I won't be home to pick it up. I guess I'll just get it a day or so late when I get home, but then I miss out on preorder stuff by a day. Lame.

Neither, largely because I don't have any money. I'm not overly interested in either anyway.

LA Noire, just because of the deal Kmart is offering.  $20 gaming coupon, and a free $19.99 or less game also (this is from the KmartGamer page on facebook).  I don't even care for Rockstar's games, but that deal is too good to pass up.

#28 Posted by Milkman (16479 posts) -

Don't know. Probably end up with both eventually, if they are both good. I still barely know anything about LA Noire besides "yo, those faces look good."

#29 Posted by SlightConfuse (3963 posts) -

LA noire for sure

#30 Posted by crusader8463 (14411 posts) -
Neither. Zero interest in the Witcher series, and console games cost way too much to buy day and date.
#31 Posted by Vigil (231 posts) -

Well i don't have a gaming PC, so its pretty apparent i'll be picking up L.A. Noire.

#32 Posted by Napalm (9020 posts) -

Neither.

#33 Posted by ZimboDK (848 posts) -

Preordered both months ago.

#34 Posted by Sin4profit (2903 posts) -

LA Noire's on Preorder and with my $15 credit i think i may buy Mortal Kombat.

As far as Witcher 2, i probably would have preorded it on Steam awhile ago but i haven't finished the first one and i won't finish it until i save my save game off another hard drive.

Witcher 2.

L.A. Noire.

#37 Posted by Shirogane (3562 posts) -

Havn't finished first Witcher, so LA Noire.
#38 Posted by PeasantAbuse (5137 posts) -

Have LA Noire pre-ordered on Amazon.  I love 99 cent release day delivery.
#39 Posted by Yanngc33 (4496 posts) -

LA Noire, hoping it's amazing but if it isn't, Dirt 3 has been pre-ordered and paid for already so there's always that

I don't understand why this wasn't included as an option. And "Both" as well, I guess.
#42 Posted by Hizang (8534 posts) -

Wii Play and Conker Live and Reloaded :)
#43 Posted by phish09 (1109 posts) -

Noire.  But I'll probably just keep playing Portal 2 over and over instead.

#44 Posted by DystopiaX (5291 posts) -

LA Noire. Heard the Witcher was good but never really got into it. May pick it up discounted in the future.

L.A. Noire.
