What game is this?

Okay, so my girlfriend told me of a game that she used to play and I was hoping to track down a copy of it for her birthday. However, she can't remember the name of it, when it came out, or even what console it was on. So, let me break down her description of it to you fine folks on Giant Bomb and lets see if we can't figure this out...

1. It's overhead perspective.

2. It's co-op (shared screen).

3. It involves zombies.

4. It's wave based, almost like each round is a puzzle (as she put it).

5. You have to funnel the zombies through certain gates and doors, in order to thin the herd so you can actually survive.

6. It's at least 6 years old by her calculations. It's most likely PS2/Xbox era (but I wouldn't rule out EARLY 360/PS3).

So, does anyone have any guesses? I am personally stumped. It's not anything I ever played.

Gah, so many games initially jump to mind but then they don't fit all the criteria. This'll be driving me crazy all day.

@jonny126: Yeah it's been driving me crazy too. I keep trying to dig through the GB wiki but so far nothing jumps out at me.

Burn zombie burn?

Could it be Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia? It came out in 2007 for the xbox 360, so it roughly fits that timeframe. I never played it so I don't know if it exactly fits your description, but its the first game that came to mind.

although might be too old

Although I love ZamN, it is not that game. I showed the game to her before months ago, and she didn't react to it.

I have played this game, and I don't think it's this. I don't remember having to funnel zombies through gates and I don't believe it's wave based.

I believe this game is too new. But I've never played it. Do you funnel zombies through hallways and stuff?

@Syphous: Remember playing Obscure & it was sort of a mix between early Resident Evil/Silent Hill mixed with Sunnydale High from Buffy tv series. Probably not it but wasn't that bad from what I recall, wasn't great either.

@Syphous: I've played that and it's 3rd person survival horror. I believe they were demons. But it's a good game!
